Not so difficult to be a "racist"

Just avoid singing with Harry (not the our one):

Trudeau vows to continue campaign amid blackface scandal

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau vowed to continue his re-election campaign and asked for forgiveness on Thursday after pictures of him in blackface emerged less than five weeks before the national vote.

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, with his face and hands painted brown, poses with others during an "Arabian Nights" party when he was a 29-year-old teacher at the West Point Grey Academy in Vancouver, Canada, in this photo published in the academy’s 2000-2001 yearbook. This image, published in The View yearbook, was obtained by Time
The Liberal Party leader’s campaign has been upended since Time magazine on Wednesday published an image of the prime minister, who is known to be strong advocate for multiculturalism, with his face blackened at a 2001 “Arabian Nights” party when he was a 29-year-old teacher at a Vancouver private school.

Other images have since emerged, and Trudeau said he was “wary” of ruling out the existence of even more because he could not remember those that had already come to light.

^^Wow! He may have a hard time getting re-elected. There are many Canadians that don't like him, even before this incident. This will add fuel to the fire for sure!

Umm...is that supposed to support your contention that Trudeau is unpopular?

Yup, that's what I think as well. This blackface episode was back in 2001, when he was playing Aladdin in a play, but the opposition will use this against him as is happening at the moment.

    Good article here.
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...deral-election

Canada has gone overly politically correct imo.
From the banning of certain religions from wearing religious symbols, etc..

Justin has put a lot of money into multi-culturalism. He has given a huge amount of money for the Indigenous people since he's been in power for one.

This foucking petard has rather fanned the flames... all that bollox about invented nomenclature for people that forced Jordan Petersen into the limelight.
These fokkin idiots are out of control and make the west a laughing stock for the rest of the world, with this utterly decadent self-indulgent stupidity.
It's gone so far now that the only way forward is an aggressive purge and and a bonfire of laws... it's creeping left-wing police state shit and needs a revolution.

^ya, I totally agree. I'd like the liberals back in power. The conservatives, thinking specifically of Doug Ford out of Toronto has totally fucked things over for Education. There has been so many cuts in education it's ridiculous. Public education is failing our students due to teaching cuts, increased classroom sizes, etc.
I don't follow politics much tbh, there is a reason.

Vancouverites love Trudeau as he legalized cannabis, and they are huge smokers. The prairies (farmers), do not like him as he hasn't put much money in cash crops. In Ontario there is a mixed bag of supporters, but many dislike him and this was before the blackface incident. Quebec/east coasters I'm not sure where they stand, but I believe Quebecers like him as he is very francais. It should be interesting to see what happens come election time in October.

When everybody looks and smells and behaves and speaks and thinks the same all the racist stuff will go away.
Except there’ll be other species to be anxious about.
