    AUD $25 a week ... affordable?

The study found that some of the most expensive health insurance policies offer less cover for certain services.
For instance, the dearest policy in Australia costs up to $1,344.35 by HBF Health for combined (hospital and extras) for families, and covers major dental up to $1,000 per person annually.
This is compared to other policies that are cheaper and offer higher coverage for major dental, such as Australian Unity’s policy for $850.60 and up to $1,500 per person, and NIB for $856.74 with up to $1,200 per person.

I think in the US it does for now, but how long it will continue and at what cost ? Am i willing to take that chance with my life? and the lives of my family?
Right now I have health insurance through my job, I will be 62 in June, and between my pension and Social security I could easily afford to retire at 62 comfortably but if I did I would lose my Health insurance and I don't get Medicare until 65.
Theoraticaly I could afford Private health insurance for the next three years at today's prices, but can they guaranty me today's prices for the next three years? and can they guarantee me pre-existing condition coverage for the next three years ? especially with this lunatic in the White House. At my age pretty much everything is a pre-existing condition.
if I got Medicare at 62 instead of 65 I would be gettin it for three years more than I normally would have had, Why can't I be able to BUY, in to the Medicare system at a pre rated cost for these three years???
IMO the private medical insurance system in the US is insanity.
Definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Yep, that's why the GOP is setting her up as the new face of the donkeys. Easy to whip. And the stupid narcissist slag relishes the role.
Why can't the beta male cuck boys of the Democratic party field any straight white male candidates?

Are they all at home making sandwiches?

    Her opponents where?
when she runs for re-election she will run in the district that elected her and opposed the Amazon project. Half of the population of The 14th congressional district is Hispanic, making it one of the most latino districts in NY her Republican opponent Anthony Papas got 13% of the vote. She was elected with 78% of the vote.
She was right, Amazon was not bringing jobs to the area, NY was buying this jobs , the area that Amazon would had developed is not a black hole, it is not and will not remain undeveloped. I will be developed by tax paying , revenue producing, job creating developments. NY is not Alabama, we don't need to pay to create jobs. which is IMO the highest form of Socialism that you guys are so against.
Republicans are so against "socialism" except when it comes to Corporate socialism, What ever happened to the free market you guys are so proud of and that has produces economic , social equity and income equality??????????

You think those illegal beaners want jobs? They'll run like scalded dogs -- in the opposite direction.
It's akin to putting up a jobs fair booth at a Black Lives Matter gathering.

The proposal would have had Amazon paying 27B in taxes.
The incentive to relocate to NY included a 3B tax break.

The net increase WOULD HAVE BEEN 24B tax influx.

Now that increase is zero and nobody gets a job. Are Democrats really this stupid? I think so. The clueless Bean & Cheese Ax Wound is claiming the 3B should be spent on social services. She's absolutely clueless.

Your zero net assumes that no other development will take place in that area. The area is booming , Manhattan is spilling over the 59 st bridge, the Manhattan Bridge and the Brooklyn bridge. Billion dollar development is taking place avery where. People who argue for the Amazon deal don't understand the area. The company I work for has developed Billions of dollars of real estate in the past three years and we are only one of many.

Someone might in two years but if someone does it would be another progressive democrat. The 14th is a safe democratic district, as I said before she won with 78% of the vote as opposed to her Republican opponent who got 13% .
Because she is so safe ,She is a lightning Rod , her proposals are designed to draw Republican fire away from those who matter, She is the one who jumps up and yells BOO!!.and while the Republicans are spending their ammunition on her, Pelosi is wiping the floor with Trump. she is only a junior congressman who because of her age has no other prospects other than the house for now. .
This is all about 2021 and the republicans are taking the bait.

I don't know why you would get upset about her. She is not smart. Fit though...

Republicans should be scared of Tulsi Gabbard. She is young, smart an ex Vet and very, very doable. The Dems will never back her though. They are too stupid.

You just don't get it do you?

Crowley has served as party chair, Chair of the House Democratic Caucus and as chairman of the Queens County Democratic Party. He was a career politician 20+ years of service and a whole lotta clout. The political cards and power he had are irreplaceable.

The stupidest thing the New York dumbocrats could do was to replace a powerful seasoned politician with a junior dancing fool who opens her Big mouth without thinkin' - yet, they did. Be careful what you ask for - you just may get it.

Yup - New York deserves her

ya know - turnin' the $3B into $6B, hell, they'll probably put up a statue of her in Central Park, or, well, maybe Harlem
