No romance here, just a simple comradeship you will never know.

Sorry I was on the piss last night. I was in the Army 90-92 stationed in Germany. I was a 12C. We were the guys that would have blown the bridges on the Rhine if the Russians would have ever invaded. Never saw a lick of combat and mostly just painted rocks and chased frauleins.

Because it was really nothing to brag about. I was an army brat grew up on a military base for a good part of my youth. I was an JROTC cadet in HS and joined the Army as an E-3 due to that. I thought I was going to be a lifer until reality took hold.

1,152,000 ameristani active-duty "defenders", ameristani land and sea borders are approx 32,000 Km long.

That's 30 ish active-duty "defenders"/km or one every 30m. Each one with a sniper rifle with telescopic sights. How is any invader getting past that volley? Add in 3 times of reserves and they are spaced every 6m.

The German creme de la creme were on the eastern front fighting the real heroes of WWII, and had been for some years.
