They are newly wealthy and are not anything like the oligarchs that have been fucking the American populace since the era of the robber barons. They are almost all progressive and tend to support being taxed at a higher rate unlike your masters the Koch brothers so it is not at all comparable. In fact the OP was quoting an article by civicskunk.works. A site owned by Nick Hanauer who is a progressive venture capitalist here in Seattle.

I don't hate anything but there is plenty that I dislike. I could start with the attempt to turn America into a social democracy rather than a nation where it pays work hard and earn your place in society. I dislike giving money to a government that believes they have a better idea of how to spend it than I do. I dislike the fact that any discussion of Christianity has been removed from public schools.I dislike the fact that immigrants who have not come in through the legal system are not deported,I do however support children who were brought here by illegally by their parents should be allowed to stay. I also believe those who are here illegally should be given green cards if they have no criminal record and can either prove of tax payments or pay an appropriate fine,learn the English language and assimilate into American society, if and only if our borders are truly secured.I dislike the fact that if you disagree with giving minorities advantages you are labeled a racist.I could go on but with you what is the point.

What I am pointing out by calling you a slave to big money is the fact that if it were not for those big money people you seem to hate the most you would not be enjoying the life style that you currently have.

Riiight.. Social democracies in Europe have a far higher quality of life because there is more income equality. Social democracies are also more efficient than America. They work less hours and get more done because they are more healthy and happier.
