    American Friendly Fire

Another 3 British soldiers killed by American bombs today. Isn't it time every country that allies with America say's "we'll help you but keep fcuking your military at home". Has anyone any knowledge how many civilians or coalision troops have been killed by these people ?
How come the British were fighting terrorism (Ireland) for many years while America supported terrorists acts through NORAID money collections ? All of a sudden America gets hit by terrorists and there's a world war declared, by America, on terrorism. Instantly the funds to the IRA cease andd they sue for peace. Consequently no more terrorist acts by the IRA.
As an ex British soldier that has exercised with American troops all I can say is "God help America".
I personally think that just having American troops on the ground in the Middle East is the biggest cause of the problems we now see around the world today. How come we don't see the 'American troops out' marches we used to see during the Vietnam war ?
No offence meant to individual Americans but as a military nation "you suck".

Thanks for that Buriramboy. I'm actually shaking with anger at the American forces in their ignorance that they actually believe their own propaganda in that "they are wininng the war on terrorism". Fcuking idiots.
Most technical nation in the world and couldn't hit a barn door at ten yards.
I'm of an age where I used to listern to ex soldiers from the 2nd world war, complaining about American friendly fire, and here we are 60+ years later reading the same stories.

To be fair they would utterly obliterate the innocent barn in misdirected fire though.

The biggest fcuk up in Afghanistan to date must be the event that occured the other week when a suicide bomber blew himself up, killing a few worthless Afghans, and the 1st Americans arriving and opening fire on the poor survivers. Woops.
Case of a few years ago when American planes, who were flying below their flight plan, in Italy I believe, collided with cable supporting a cable car cable resulting in fatalities. The pilots were cleared and one was promoted to flying instructor.
Please don't ask my source of information, I just remember reading it.

Not a terribly good turn of phrase that one. I'm sure the Afghans didn't think they were worthless.

Sorry to all Afghans reading this thread but I was looking at you through an American perspective. If you're not American you're inferior. The land of the brave rules as long as we can bomb you occasionally sometimes, and hope our allies don't mind about friendly fire in between ?

WTF do you expect from a war?
Don't forget who declared war on who!
War is ugly. Always has been. Did you expect it to get pretty?
You want to roll over and let Jihadist mofos have their way with you?

because there isn't a draft---yet. for the time being, the US military seems content to give $45,000 bribes to 42 year old fat criminals of questionable intelligence in to fill up the uniforms. once all these guys are dead or maimed, and they start trying to fill those uniforms with middle class white kids, then there will be protests in the streets.

you've admitted to dodging the draft during vietnam, and now you don't have the courage of your alleged convictions to go to iraq as a contractor.

tell us more about war earl.

To be fair they're just as likely, probably more, to take an 18yr old of questionable intelligence.

I used to chat with some of these army or marine guys (whatever they were, I can't tell the difference... same haircuts) that were on leave from the bases when I was working in Korea.

I'll never forget this one guy, when I asked him why he joined the army his reply (and I shit you not, this is genuine) was that he was a musician and wanted to find a drummer to join his band.

I don't remember Afghanistan declaring war on anybody.
"you want to roll over and..........." sounds like the same thing Americans were saying 30 years ago but with communist in the phrase and not Jihadist mofos. What is a Jihadist mofos ? Is it American speak, like flashlight meaning torch ?

Weren't there more British soldiers killed by Americans than Iraqis during the invasion?

Only a couple of days before the tragic event, British Special Forces in Afghanistan were complaining about Americans being too eager to bring in air-strikes which caused unecessary civilian casualties.

Friendly fire is always scary, and shit happens when it is called in from elsewhere.
I have shit my pants when someone is directing it and really don't know exactly where you are, like one time the battleship NJ, was firing over the top of us, had no idea we were there, and the shit was dropping kinda close but still on the hill that they wanted.
To bad folks get killed from it, but called in friendly fire is always dangerous.

The new boy Gordon should speak up on this issue. The poodle/ master relationship is in desperate need of change.

No great loss ... the world won't miss three less Limey cutns.
Typical American, total disregard for anyone other than themselves. It's no wonder the world dislikes America. You're so full of your own self importance that you're blinded into thinking, as a nation, you're better than everyone else. A similar belief to Germany in the 30/40s. I can honestly understand why people want to destroy you.
Some people claim that Pearl Harbour is an American state. Obviously you Americans will disagree but from what i can tell, it became one after the Japs finished with it. Another American fcuk up. They didn't trust the radar, that the British gave them. Whoops another acceptable mistake that happens in war. Why is it you Americans accept accidents of war ?

Why no concern for Kosovo for example ... it's still a cluster fuck ... how many innocent civilians were killed by not only the expert bombings of the Americans but the British ?

Why was bombing the fuck out of Kosovo aceptable ? I don't remember anybody from that country attacking America ... England or Austalia. And when exactly did Congress authorize Clinton to drag America into that mess ? And when exactly did the UN approve action in that country

What are we still doing in that country over a decade later ? Why do you knuckleheads seem to ignore the fact that Tony Blair had his country at war for nearly his entire time as PM ? How in the hell did MI3 get away with feeding not only America but the great British citizens so much faulty intelligence for so many years ?

No pal ... until you wake up and realize that blaming Bush and America for the wrongs in the world is ignorant ... free thinkers like myself will never be able to take brainwashed hypocritical buffoons like you seriously.

Thank you President Bush for actually listening to PM Blair and having the balls to take action against a murderous tyrant who violated actual UN resolutions.

MI3? I think you mean MI6. They had good intelligence but it was ignored by Tony Blair and GWB.

I would be just as appalled if US troops were killed by British friendly fire, but, to my knowledge this has never happened.

Show me a post of mine where I have gloated over the deaths of soldiers from any nation.

Put up or shut up Flouncer.

You? A free-thinker? Don't make me laugh. You are a prisoner of right wing ideology.
If the Democrats had done exactly the same as this administration, you'd be howling for blood.

Uh huh ... yeah, right ... for a decade prior to the invasion of Iraq our politicians the WORLD over AGREED that Saddam had WMDs ... NOBODY disputed it until after the invasion and none were found ... that's the truth anybody who says otherwise is a damn liar.

    Thanks for proving my point.
Me? Left wing? Hardly. Capitalist Maggie Thatcher supporter. I'm just not a prisoner of any wing of politics (unlike yourself).

Now...about any posts of mine gloating over the deaths of soldiers?
