Also it didn't help that she's completely unlikeable and lacking in charisma and the other option was that scruffy old and equally lacking charisma Bernie Sanders.

And yet the deeper they dig the more Russian connections they find.
How many years did the repubtards investigate Hillary over the Bengazi thing? Only to come up empty handed.
They should just shut the fuck up. Talk about hypocrisy and double standards.

That kid from Georgia who Trump had chosen to replace Gen. Kelly has backed out. Not only is he turning down the chief of staff position with Trump, but he’s resigning from his chief of staff position under VP Pence!

Nick Ayers must know the both of them are heading down the tube.

I'm guessing that's the same thing many think....

I wonder who would take the job when the first thing to consider is how much your lawyer is going to cost....

Why aren't Trump's tariffs closing the trade deficit?

Give poor ol Bernie a break...he's still trying to get that Clinton/Wasserman Schultz knife out of his back. Or was that the Russian's fault too?

Trump invited the media in today when he, Chuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi were negotiating the border wall funding. Turned into a fracas.

Couldn’t keep my eye off Mike Pence. While everyone else is animated and yelling at each other, he just sits there perfectly still and shuts his eyes.

The way Trump likes to sit with his hands teeped and sitting forward... It always strikes me as the pose of someone who thinks that makes them look like they're acting interested, engaged and presidential.

Also the way he's trying to explain the appropriations process and votes required like it's some massive mystery he has solved is kinda weird.

Trump effect: Stocks drop during live presidential broadcast

Markets rallied out of the gate on Tuesday on hopes that the US-China trade discussions may find traction toward solving their differences. But they quickly went off track.

[...] "The market was looking good until Trump took a detour into crazy town during his meeting with Pelosi and Schumer," said Ivan Feinseth, chief investment officer at Tigress Financial Partners.

But he was also missing the major point. Pelosi put it nicely; "We need to discuss equities before we can give you the votes". Schumer was more blunt; "It's either your way or no way.". Trump just continued to ignore that a parliamentary opposition is an important part of democracy and that he needs to negotiate and listen. He was so determined to showboat that he's powerful and won't negotiate, Schumer easily finessed him into stating outright that it will be his way or he will shut down the government.
Words that will come back to haunt him, and Sarah Sanders will have a hard time spinning. My guess is she will say something like "He's a strong president and follows through with his promises", meanwhile Trump denying he ever said it.

Schumer was having a great time making a fool of Trump on camera

I try to keep an open mind when watching that video, and I like to see Trump to make a fool of himself, but again he is winning here

your anti-Trump bias might make you feel differently though, but Pelosi and the Democrat Senator come across as sheepish

the problem is he is much better in front of a TV with his arguments than the other 2

his audience will love it for sure, and I think he did a good job, and came across not so bad, but again I try to be neutral here

anyway who is really watching these days, his haters and his fans

the majority of people probably don't even bother, so the mocking and the message from Democrats is all lost anyhow

they are fighting against a new kind of predator, they are out of their league

let him build his wall, and it will be a disaster, and so be it

Border security can never be achieved, so it's all a lure at the end

the stupid Democrats should know this by now, they are fighting a battle they can't win, their only chance is to surrender and comply

He gave the Dems exactly what they came for:

"Yes, if we don't get what we want...I will shut down the government. ... I will take the mantle. I will be the one to shut it down. I'm not going to blame you for it.

On top of which they called out his lies in public and to his face in the process thereof making the toadying GOP look exactly what they are, spineless suck-ups. Pence helpfully sat there mute to underscore that.
    Massive win for the Dems.

you know exactly what comes next: "the Democrats made me shut it down, dont blame me, ask them why they didn't fund the wall"

Well, he is louder I'll give you that. I guess it's no problem for his supporters that he lied several times in his passionate defense of the wall that he promised Mexico would pay for.

not really, only if you are an Anti-Trump snowflake

they are weak, and can't really fight back as they should, so at the end Trump will take them down with him in the mud and win by experience
