^Yeah I think its good policy if done correctly. If Obama had implemented anything remotely like it he would have been called a treasonous commie sympathizer. He was called that anyway.

I agree. A new arms race is a very foolish way to accomplish this goal. One day this will become obvious in the worst way imaginable.

What arms race? You mean Obamas already standing 30 year 1 Trillion Dollar Nuclear Modernization program? Or the comment from pajama wearing MSNBC news anchors saying Trump wants a nuclear arms race?

Do you really think Putin is interested in doing anything other than to benefit himself? He has not suddenly turned into a good guy. He was a KGB foreign agent for years. Russia's press freedoms, which have never been great, have declined under Putin and are practically non-existent now. Putin's critics end up dead. He is not the man for a dullard like Trump to deal with.

I do understand that a lot of people love authoritarian strongmen like Putin. Plus he is White.

He is an Oligarch, but also an extremely popular leader that has given Russians back a sense of pride in themselves and their country. Yes of course there is dissent and there is no doubt he is ruthless. But the most damaging thing happening to Russia right now is the economic sanctions imposed by the US and it is businesses that are suffering with unemployment rising.

Some of my colleagues are Russian, they are really very good people.. a little different in their ways perhaps, but undoubtedly hardworking, proud and honest. It is a shame to know that the sanctions are ruining the potential their country has, but they are stoical in a way that only Russians can be. The US is a fading star and as it's influence wanes so too will it's ability to poison minds with it's hysteria and animosity.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

Oh, but Neo, you have it all wrong right here. Donald Trump will make America great again. We will be #1!

As far as ordinary Russians go, I share your sympathies, but the sanctions were meant to go after Putin's wealthy friends, who keep Putin in cash.

When did sanctions ever effect the military-industrial base of an Establishment.?
Putin may be cash rich, but his power is in his strong links to the military.
The sanctions were put in place to stop economic growth in a model that doesn't fit with a US/IMF agenda... same story, different country.

^ Most of the stalled growth in Russia's economy right now is low oil prices, anyway.

We are on the wrong thread for this.

My my, we are having lots of kittens today!

America's fearmongering and warmongering only serve the interests of the most wealthy military industrialists.

As far as Obama's recent Russia sanction action, it was a transparent ploy to undermine the election.

The Clintons, Bushes, and Obamas have been some of the very worst warmongers we have seen since Nixon and LBJ. The last 24 years global hostilities have only increased, largely thanks to a militaristic American foreign policies.

The American government status quo is utterly unacceptable for global peace.

Having cordial businesslike relations with Russia, China, et al, is the only thing that makes sense, short of global disarmament.

Arm the people and disarm government!

    And btw..

I see that Trump tweet more along the lines of the metaphor of the "wall".
Trump certainly isn't advocating a nuclear arms race. Quite the opposite, "come to it's senses regarding nukes" means nuclear disarmament. IMHO.

This is straight talk, not political pandering bullshit.

The liberal press is so profoundly butthurt they have a hair trigger ability to twist and misinterpret reality.

That was not the question but I take it from your response the answer is yes.

Do you really think you have what it takes to call Trump a dullard, I think your just butt hurt over Hillary's loss.

Really! Then how would you interpret; "until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes"?

Does that sound like he is advocating global nuclear war and the extermination of humanity?

So you know what is inside Donald Trumps head! You must be really very smart or psychic!

Donald Trump is a very high profile media personality, and highly successful one at that.
No one really knows who he really is other than his crafted media presentations.
If you're suggesting his success is a product of stupidity, then perhaps you should look at yourself some more.

If you happenned to watch the two videos (that were furiously deleted) I posted prior to the election, ya might've gotten a slight glimmer into who the real Donald Trump is.

So far, little miss is having kittens, you have shown you have a natural ability to parrot libtard media talking points, and a singular inability to think for yourself.

The irony is you actually think you're more inteligent than The Donald!

    Poor little kittens...meow, meow, meow!
    And btw;
