Not just the USA but many other developed nations have influenced events throughout the world and through known history, which according to the quoted line of reasoning means we are responsible for everything that goes rotten...don't bother giving credit for what turns out right.

Also, don't even consider that the result of non-involvement would also have reaped a reality, unless of course you know in the case of Iran it would have turned out to be a model Islamic state.

Bit suspicious that you may even be suggesting the West turn towards isolationism, or that they only get involved when the outcome is conclusively known and positive.
