Condi Rice was a highly regarded Russia expert going back to the Cold War and speaks Russian fluently.

Languages, especially difficult ones such as Russian, are perishable skills. I see nothing in her resume showing an in-depth study of Russian, which takes years to learn well. I see a semester-long internship only. She may have spoken some Russian at one point in her life; I doubt if she currently has even close to limited conversational ability.

Condi claimed, once upon a time, to be a Soviet expert. She attempted in an interview to speak Russian in a radio interview in Moscow and pretty much fell apart.

You never read my replies to your thread did you? Worthless thread pasted every time some law is reported to be challenged regarding gay marriage. In my replies I stated my lack of interest one way or the other. I also stated that people have a right to be what they choose to be or believe, such as yourself for example.

I also stated that it was pretty strange for some guy in Florida USA, who does not reside in Thailand to keep at this bizarre posting of Gay Progress on a Web Site Based in Thailand intended for Ex-pats in Thailand. Never a reply from you as to your reasoning or cause.

Whether or not she is gay wouldn't be an issue for Republicans like, say, you? It might not be too big a deal for some California GOPers, although there was pretty heavy resistance to marriage equality in CA as I recall.
