Fools and politicians don't realise the Islamic State cannot be defeated. It's not an army, it's an idea. But not many politicians here, I suppose.

So go ahead, take to the streets and celebrate the recovery of a city or territory in Syria, and ignore the lies of your glorious leaders about the death of the Caliphate, as you did when they told you about the death of AQ and the Taliban.

No matter how much land is 'recovered' for the west to mismanage into the hands of the next batch of friendlies, or how many IS fighters are captured and killed, because the idea of IS has already been spirited into your home towns and as we know that can only be defeated by properly certified keyboard warriors.
