    Try this

    http://www.mnpoliceclips.com/Minneap...t-sounds-.html

Works for me, and the link is in the second paragraph here.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...s-police-radio

The audio has been out for a while though. Someone with a police scanner records and uploads apparently.

So they heard sounds in the station that were probably fireworks and he couldn't tell the difference?

No, it was the reporting police officers at the scene that reported to dispatch (the station) about fireworks.

And no a black cat popped off in an alley would sound crazy similar to a handgun

Will be interesting to hear if that's his story.

The non shooting driver cop has already given a statement to some local government investigative board to that effect, but not explaining the shooting cop, just himself. The police chief has asked for an outside independent investigation as well - so that tosses your cover up conspiracy theory

The shooter cop has declined a further statement beyond his police report to that investigative board I believe. He can't be forced to - 5th Amendment. Not right now anyway until they have all the facts & context etc.

Well we know the context. Another panicking cop shot another innocent unarmed civilian, and they'll all be doing their best to wheedle out of it.

Hubby I expect will be suing the shit out them.

What other country has as many people getting shot by police as the US. American cop culture is trigger happy. They really need to ease back on the attitude.

This cop is gone, his partner has given him up already, no one is going to stand up for him.
The cover up will be about why he was hired in the first place, a scared little wannabe, who appears to like hitting women.

Thats not what I asked. Tons of these shootings are completely necessary for the safety of the public ffs.

The vast majority are legal, justified shootings. Just because someone was "Unarmed!!" doesn't mean it wasn't justified & legal.

The attitude thing I can kinda agree with.... Just about until you get into the hood.

US Cops just don't go around shooting unarmed innocent people ffs and when it does happen, like may have happened in this case, it'll be handled according to what the law allows.

No, sometimes a minor traffic violation or something really egregious like selling cigarettes on the sidewalk without a license justifies death by cop.

Cant be easy being a cop in a place when anyone is likely to be carrying a gun and someone committing a crime would not hesitate to shoot to escape. The deaths of officers killed in the line of duty has increased in the last few years.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...e_line_of_duty

That does not include the ones wounded.

Nor does it excuse the killing under discussion.

But who orders the police to go out and get the revenue from minor offenses.
Police would rather arrest bad people then give out petty tickets, but money rules and politicians want the income stream.

I remember what you're referring to SK about the cigarettes. NYCPD illegal choke hold that lead to death.

    "I can't breathe."
