Yes, but he's also slaughtered thousands of Syrian rebels who are not terrorists, but fighting a civil war against a vicious minority government led by a dead man walking - and all in the name of some weapons sales and a decrepit navy base.

If you applaud that, there is something mentally askew about you.

Actually he has not until they downed the russian plane in Egypt. Up to that point he has concentrated on the Syrian opposition that was already fighting both Assad and ISIS.

Not that they are all forces of good as well.
