but the US wasn't attacked, that's the problem. It was a lame excuse to go to Iraq. Afghanistan was first only become NATO, the UN and the EU didn't go with Bush plan to go first in Iraq.

as for results, stop being a gullible "average" American, there has been no results. Even some Congress committee investigation on CIA and NSA practices said that no credible results were achieved. Again, it was a lame excuse to put into place a pipe dream of the Pentagon Generals, the full surveillance of the world communication.

so at the end the USSR was no different from the USA, and likewise, the USA will end up like the USSR, ruined by years of senseless conflicts and bankrupted by war profiteers like Cheney and his friends. Does Rome rings a bell ?
