I am not denying what you say about Ukraine. Crimea and eastern part of the country are largely Russian. They should all democratically decide where they want to be. Forced oppression of either side is no good.

1 week to find out but I'm betting China will as who supplies a greater % of Chinas energy needs, Russia or the US??? plus China as much as Russia would like to see the end of $ dominance. As always with US foreign policy it's always done with no foresight as to the consequences, while this deal if it happens won't kill the $ in itself it will set a precedent that others will follow and the $ decline will gather momentum.
