    a rant

    The World Stinks!
Okay so pissed off and thinking too much about all the shit in this world!
Governments, banks, brokers etc, religious orders, monarchies etc (all contributing next to fk all) are worth trillions yet there are still people who don’t have enough to eat, adequate shelter, displaced persons etc ….
Sure… hand out a few bags of rice for a photo OP…UN making frickin useless resolutions, NGOs “look how good we are”….. yada yada.
Agreed there are few like Red Cross, Sally Anne and the like which try but suspect they are often frustrated by their own bureaucracy.
Love your fellow man my arse…mostly self serving hypocrites!!

    Sorry just felt like a rant……better now..Well a little bit….

...a long time ago was flying over the beautiful vista of the snow covered Rockies in a Citation jet on the way to some really important fucking meeting.
Looked down and casually remarked to the exec suits opposite me that perhaps this view made our "important" business just a little bit somewhat insignificant in the great scheme of things.

Reply was that I obviously had a serious attitude problem and perhaps I should reconsider my career.............!?

Your observation is of course, bang on. We are merely specs of matter that develop conscience for a fleeting moment then return to the dust we came from. Giving ones self any greater sense of improtance is pretensive at best.

I can relate to what your saying, and it`s depressing thinking about it for too long.
The massive leap in technology in the past 100 years compared to the previous 100..and some people in villages don`t even have clean drinking water let alone decent food or medical. The UN appears to be a toothless tiger on sedatives,..and superstition and religous nuttery abound.

But look on the bright side:
