Thats correct, it does give the farmer a fair price so he can continue to plant and stay in business, and it does help other people that are hungry and either to stupid or lazy to grow anything to feed them selves, or sometimes it is brought on by natural disasters such as floods and other acts of that richeous bitch, Mother nature.
Some countrys just have a hard time even tho they do try,
I was on a 29,000 ton bulk carrier that was on a steady run into Inchon, hauling rice from Sacramento at the RGA plant.
The rice was given by the USDA to the Koreans and they in turn had to pay the shipping costs, same ship would make runs from the west coast to Pakistan and India with grain under the same deal.

Farmers and food, The one reason that Hitler didn't kill more POLS than he did is that they needed the farmers to grow crops to send back to Germany to feed the people.
The USA was sending food to England, Russia and most of Europe from the farmers in the USA, nice to have those farmers when ya need em, so better keep them in business, if not for that, there would be a lot more hungry folks in the world today..

I suspect if the Pals ever took control of Israel, after their leaders finished looting the coffers it would be handed over to the people for reversion to desert and swamp, in line with the big guy's wishes, or nature.

Nablus is a city in the West Bank, supposedly controlled by “moderate” Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas: IDF exposes bomb lab in Nablus.

Yes, the same Mahmoud Abbas that the Bush administration is currently promoting as a partner in peace.
A number of IDF troops were wounded during an operation in Nablus Thursday which exposed a large explosives laboratory.

Three prepared explosive devices, each weighing roughly five kilograms, were found in the laboratory, along with numerous weapons, magazines and materials used to manufacture bombs.

Israeli army forces entered Nablus Wednesday to operate against terrorist infrastructure and locate illegal weapons caches. The large-scale operation was launched after intelligence information indicated that terrorists in the city were planning a number of attacks in Israeli territory.

Wednesday afternoon soldiers discovered another weapons cache containing a pipe bomb, a Kalashnikov rifle, a hand gun and two grenades. At another location in Nablus troops found an M-16 rifle and a telescopic sight. The weapons were confiscated and the grenades were detonated in controlled explosions.

Thus far eight Fatah-affiliated suspects have been arrested in the frame of the operation.

It seems nowadays any Islamic leader that hasn't come out of the closet to demand the end of civilisation is regarded as a moderate.

I'm pro HAMAS. Fatah is the corpse of Arab/socialism/nationalism. HAMAS has offered an indefinate truce if the Palestinians regain the occupied territories.

The Jews have no intention of giving up any sizable piece of land. (do any of you fuckwits know how small the Gaza strip is?) The way the media has portayed a HAMAS take over of the Gaza Strip is a joke, Hamas won a plurality votes in the West bank and Gaza. This is the great lie of the West's push for liberla democracy: democracies are only legitimate if they support America and Israel.

The infusion of Western funds to the West Bank without any porgress on the matter of Palestinian soverignty will make Abbas look like a Jew/US puppet and only further the cause of HAMAS or perhaps even more radical Al Qaeda linked groups.

They champion falsehood, support the butcher against the victim, the oppressor against the innocent child. May God mete them the punishment they deserve

What would you, as the most reasonable person on your side of the screen, define as 'the occupied territories'?

What do you think the Arab/Islamic brotherhood defines as 'the occupied territories'?

Do you think the joos should support Abbas, or play along with the other thugs in the hope that by slicing their own throats Hamas might view them as serious contenders for peace?

You and kerux should get on just fine.

And of course, what is an 'indefinite truce'? Is it the same as peace, or a tentative cessation of terrorism until they feel the time is ripe for more of the same?
