I view it the same as teaching birth control in a classroom. You might not be promiscuous, and you might not come into contact with guns, but better to know what to do if it happens. Though I'm pretty sure a lot of the NRA nuts would disagree with me on the birth control issue.

I'm sure all mothers & fathers don't want to see jr. or sis come down with an std or in sis's case, become pregnant at an early age.
