Yup with TFP on this one.

Banging on endlessly about one or the other is boring and indicative of a lack of interest in reality because it's too complex to understand from videos on YouTube.
there is a specific trend for media companies to do this on purpose to stop conversation about it. They portray a thousand pitch fork holding yokels talking about it, and suddenly the pilot or what ever who claims to have seen these things are reticent to come forwards because a minority of people who chose ridicule over conversation makes them scared to....in case they open themselves up to ridicule.
If they exist, where are they? A one billion years old intelligent race would have spread all over the galaxy at a speed as low as 1/100 of the speed of light. Therefore, either we are alone, or travel between stars is impossible. Let alone faster than light. Remember the sixties? The vision was to go to the Moon by 1970, Mars 1980, Saturn 1990, and Alpha Centauri by 2000. And what is it like? A space station 300 km up, a distance you can travel by car in an hour.
Agree that it's a big universe and there will be other life out there, but doubt they would, in their 100s it would seem, fly light years to look at us. Are we really that interesting, think not.
Most sightings can be put down to logical things, aircraft, balloons etc, but just because you can't find a logical answer, doesn't prove aliens.
It's a weird universe and we know very little about how it all works. Stand anywhere on this planet and you are bombarded by EM emissions, some natural others man made. You can't see or feel them, but have the right receiver and you can watch TV, listen to radio or talk on a mobile.
Seeing in many cases should not be believing. Jim
^ ^ so there is no way then that a planet might have life on it then? Maybe just a planet full of weird animals and humantype creatures? totally discounted because of a Hollywood inspired version of reality? Maybe they are so far advanced that they look at us as cattle, of no interest, and nothing on earth to interest them either so they fly past sometimes going somewhere more interesting. We're not that bloody special you know.
Considering there are billions of stars in a galaxy and there are billions upon billions of galaxies it's inevitable that the same conditions on earth will be more or less replicated somewhere.
The idea of them traveling across the unimaginable distances and time involved is harder to accept.
But the reality, all things considered, the very bizarre fact that YOU exist at all, means anything is possible.

“If we stop testing right now we’d have very few cases, if any.” Donald J Trump.
They're watching.....
So true. The video I posted was a press conference featuring people from prominent positions in the military, aerospace industry, gov't officials, etc. telling their experiences with UFO's and none of it got reported by MSM. MSM would rather talk about Justin Beibers monkey for fucksakes.Originally Posted by pseudolus

Are there/have there been other intelligent forms of life?
Most certainly.
Have they ever been here?
Most certainly not.
be careful what you say - all the mods on this site are aliens
FFS aliens are real i've been married too three of them. And yes they are all the same evil things that they are.

The traveling the vast distance between stars is really not a big a problem, we have the science now, but the tech knowledge may be a 1,000 years away. Jim
I've seen numerous aliens. Every time I visit Thai immigration, they are sitting around with numbers in their hands waiting.... Some of them appear quite human; others...well... they could all be from different galaxies I suppose...![]()
Yes, but maybe the heads are a very strong light compound and the necks are like steel ,maybe they are insectoid like.
You're basing your assumptions on earthly human concepts.
Maybe on their planet bone is different to earth.
(and maybe the actual aliens don't look anything like this, even though everyone knows they do)

Sorry. Insectoids have an exoskeleton, no bones. And no noses. And a whole aray of little brains along the length of their bodies, no need for oversized skulls. They're humanoid mammals, the one on the left has boobs. Low gravity wouldn't neccessitate to evolve super-strong bones.
For us yes, for anyone out there a 1.000 years ahead of us no.
The alien pics above are common in may cultures, but most don't attribute them to aliens.
Some experiments and studies have been done about EM emissions from minor earth movements, the crushing of rocks give off EM pulses which can paralyses some people for short times, They often see the grey people with big eyes. Each culture has it's own belief as to what they are. Most don't believe in aliens, Korea calls them sea witches. others in the west may have called then goblins.
No aliens running around, but without getting to deep, there are things called resonance and quantum mechanics, much stranger than aliens. Jim

I understood the science is that you don't actually move but more pull time towards you, pin yourself to it, and then release "time" which jumps you forward. By this manner the distance does not matter as any distance can be travelled immediately.

What if time doesn't even exist (as a property of the universe), but is a human invention, along with the measuring systems? Serious people like Kant and Leibnitz have claimed that. It defies definition after all, and that's unusual for something out of physics. Just right for philosophy, though.
^ Reductionism (Aristotle, Leibnitz) argues that time is just an external reference, whereas Platonism (Plato, Newton) argues that time is a fundamental property of nature.
Kant ended up being somewhere on the fence between the two...
Few have the time nowadays to bother worrying about it.
Life somewhere else in one of the universes? I would think the odds are very favourable. However, whether it is a life-form crazy enough to want to break out from its natural habitat in order to seek other life-forms is another matter. More likely there are many of them at the microbiological level waiting to devour us all without being seen.
