But there is still hope for President Sanders, there is I read a criminal investigation going on into the Email thing and it will only take one more scandal and Hillery could be out.

And you want Bernie killed off. Well I suppose the US has killed most of its good presidents and given the bad ones a second term and there are plenty of guns around to do the job so no need for a knife.

Na she's more likely to come right out and stab him in the front.
Always the back, she is far too cowardly for a frontal assault.

A USA citizen, Muslim imam who supposedly backed the coup in Turkey also gave dosh to Hillary for her campaign.

Turkey wants him extradited to face the music.

    He denies any involvement .

I normally do some research before I post and several pages back on this topic there was a comparison between what she and Bernie had voted for and against in the past and she had voted for every war going, look for it yourself.

You see the part of US policy that effects the rest of the world most is its overseas policy particularly starting wars, arming and encouraging rebels to attack their governments and sanctions. Most of them illegal under international law.

However domestic policy can also affect others, think back to 2008 and more recently the support for fracking and starting to export oil which has helped cause a worldwide glut and prices to fall.

Hillary announces Tim Kaine as her running mate.

Some news from home. Hispanics just aren’t into the guy (FIU Poll)

While developer Donald Trump was busy getting the Republican Party’s presidential nomination this week, he was losing big in a Miami-Dade County courtroom.

Circuit Court Judge Jorge Cueto, presiding over a lawsuit related to unpaid bills brought by a local paint store against the Trump National Doral Miami golf resort, ordered the billionaire politician’s company to pay the Doral-based mom-and-pop shop nearly $300,000 in attorney’s fees.

All because, according to the lawsuit, Trump allegedly tried to stiff The Paint Spot on its last payment of $34,863 on a $200,000 contract for paint used in the renovation of the home of golf’s famed Blue Monster two years ago.

    A snippet from VOX

Kaine got his start as a lawyer suing landlords for illegal housing discrimination, while Trump got his start as a media figure by being a landlord who got sued for illegal housing discrimination? There’s a certain poetry to that.

    More on Tim Kaine

A little "balance." The VP would be a job I like. Here are some details on Kain'es positions (not that it matters). You literally do nothing and stay out of the way.

Maybe HRC will get ill within 8 years, if she wins....

    IMO, smart pick by HRC.

I've just read several emails from and to Wasserman-Schults, Luis Miranda, and other DNC people.

    It's pretty disgusting.

I (hopefully) see more and more Independents leaving HRC for this and not voting for her.

    So, we call this journalism?

Leaked emails reveal Politico reporter made 'agreement' to send advanced Clinton story to DNC
    Oliver Darcy

US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton speaks at the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees convention in Las Vegas. Thomson Reuters

An influential reporter at Politico made an apparent "agreement" with the Democratic National Committee to let it review a story about Hillary Clinton's fundraising machine before it was submitted to his editors, leaked emails published by WikiLeaks on Friday revealed.

Reporter Kenneth Vogel sent an advanced copy of his story to DNC national press secretary Mark Paustenbach in late April.

The email's subject line read: "per agreement ... any thoughts appreciated."
"Vogel gave me his story ahead of time/before it goes to his editors as long as I didn't share it," Paustenbach wrote in an email to Luis Miranda, the DNC's communications director.

"Let me know if you see anything that's missing and I'll push back," he added.
A leaked email revealed that a top Politico reporter gave a DNC representative an advanced copy of a story as part of an "agreement." WikiLeaks

The final copy of the story did not appear have any significant edits, and Clinton's campaign seemed unhappy with the final copy of the article. But sending an advanced copy of a story to a subject represents a break from typical journalistic ethics.

Neither Vogel nor a representative for Politico were available for comment at the time of publication.

A person with knowledge of the agreement, however, said that it was made to ensure accuracy in a complex story.

    It's not "benign."

^It's a non-issue. The primaries are over. They were conducted according to each party and each state's rules. All the candidates were aware of the rules. It's up to the parties to change their rules and put people in place to see that they are followed. You act like the notion of super delegates are a Clinton invention. Clinton won by every measure; total votes, state delegates won and primaries won. She won, get over it.

This is a non-story being puffed up into another "scandal". I think political staffs get advanced copies of stories all the time to see what the push back is.

    So what?

We've already had proof that Bernie tried to undermine Hillary during the primaries.

Ultimately Bernie lost fair and square.

It will be interesting to see if he has a sour grapes moment next week.

Show me where I implied or explicitly stated it was a "Clinton invention."

    ^^ the turd polishing commences.

You can't polish this turd either. He looks like terminallyillary's henpecked husband. This choice alone is going to cost her a few points in the polls at least. He looks the type that was bullied at school. She needed a young handsome guy as a contrast or an alpha male to attract the male vote., what a crap choice. Poor judgement as always.

First of all, this guy was a Financial Officer, not a political officer. Anybody can write an e-mail and make a suggestion.
Did he have authority to have such a question asked of Bernie, or was it just some idiot's bright idea?

On May 5, a DNC employee asked colleagues to "get someone to ask his belief" in God and suggested that it could make a difference in Kentucky and West Virginia. Sanders' name is not mentioned in the note.

"This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist," DNC chief financial officer Brad Marshall wrote.
