WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?
Conveniently Forgotten Facts by Paul Harvey
Back in 1969 a group of Black Panthers decided that a fellow black panther named Alex Rackley needed to die. Rackley was suspected of disloyalty. Rackley was first tied to a chair.
Once safely immobilized, his friends tortured him for hours by, among other things, pouring boiling water on him.
When they got tired of torturing Rackley, Black Panther member, Warren Kimbro took Rackley outside and put a bullet in his head. Rackley's body was later found floating in a river about 25 miles north of New Haven, Connecticut.
Perhaps at this point you're curious as to what happened to these Black Panthers?
In 1977, that's only eight years later, only one of the killers was still in jail.
The shooter, Warren Kimbro, managed to get a scholarship to Harvard and became good friends with none other than Al Gore. He later became an assistant dean at an Eastern Connecticut State College.
Isn't that something!!!
As a '60s radical you can pump a bullet into someone's head and a few years later, in the same state, you can become an assistant college dean!
Only in America!!!
Erica Huggins was the woman who served the Panthers by boiling the water for Mr. Rackley's torture... Some years later Ms. Huggins was elected to a California School Board.
How in the world do you think these killers got off so easily?
Maybe it was in some part due to the efforts of two people who came to the defense of the Panthers.
These two people actually went so far as to shut down Yale University with demonstrations in defense of the accused Black Panthers during their trial.
One of these people was none other than Bill Lan Lee. Mr. Lee, or Mr. Lan Lee, as the case may be, isn't a college dean. He isn't a member of a California School Board. He is now head of the United States Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, appointed by none other than Bill Clinton.
O.K., so who was the other Panther defender? Is this other notable Panther defender now a school board member? Is this other Panther apologist now an assistant college dean? No, neither!
The other Panther defender was, like Lee, a radical law student at Yale University at the time. She is now known as The "smartest woman in the world." She is none other than the Democratic senator from the State of New York---- the former First Lady, the incredible Hillary Rodham Clinton .
And now, as Paul Harvey said; "You know the rest of the story".
Pass this on! This deserves the widest possible press. Also remember it when she runs for President!
Hillary Clinton once supported Black Panthers on trial for murder-Truth!

Nah... this is an old one. Circulated heavily during her senate run.Originally Posted by panama hat
Interesting its being revived again during the primaries.
Anyway, once the nominees have been selected and the real no-holds barred mudslinging begins... scandals? - as numerous as the stars in the sky.
On the basis of the amount of money being projected to be spent on the general election - we will have our fill and then some.![]()
Yup... but then again, I'm one of them bible grasping shotgun toting Pennsylvanians.Originally Posted by Humbert

^^ Bringing that stuff up doesn't help the Republicans among younger people. It is only important to old geezers. Recycling old scandals will burn Republicans more than Clinton.
I read just yesterday an article in The Atlantic regarding the "culture wars" of the '90 and disdain conservatives have for the "radical" Clintons. Good read this one.

My favorite part of this whole long story is the part where the writer interviews Chris Ruddy, the current CEO of Newsmax and one of the Clinton's early detractors, states this...
“There was just so much ferment back then, and we got carried away,” he told me. “People get emotional. It was almost like a war, but a political one.” Today Ruddy, who says he is most likely to support the GOP candidate in 2016, will even allow that Clinton “will be a good president. She’s going to surprise a lot of people.”
Don't know where you're from or what kind of people you hang around but this just doesn't ring true to me. The country is full of Copenhagen dipping, CMA watching, shot gun toting, military serving and church attending types between ages of 16 - 90 who love hearing this stuff about the Clintons.
Russia went from being 2nd strongest army in the world to being the 2nd strongest in Ukraine
Oh I don't know I think it will show the young people where her mind set was even back then, that along with the fact she was fired from the watergate investigation for lying and falsifying evidence which it appears she has not lost her touch. She is a women obsessed with acquiring power and she has been since her early years as a young lawyer willing to do anything in the pursuit of that power.
You can read the story another way
The shooter took initiative and got a managerial post
The victim paid the price for disloyalty
Effective counsel/liars did well in a system where you don't need to be brilliant just a tad smarter than the average Jo
business as usual a violent bunch of kids with guns do dumb things, elect dolts, God bless America no one else will, hope she's in a good mood, more likley smote with earthquake
I'm from Georgia, home of the snuff dipping church goers. However, it's only the older, working class, White males who have that odd fixation on Hillary, laughing about her cankles and emailing each other photoshopped Hillary the witch pics. They don't make up the majority population. Whites in general are just over (55%) of the population. Younger men grew up in the feel good times of the Clinton presidency and see her as the accomplished woman she is. Black people love her. Women, even if they don't love her, are put off by jokes about her age and the berating of her because she stayed with a straying husband. In other words, women relate, even if they dont like her politics.Originally Posted by Storekeeper
Since I'm on the subject of demographics, I'll state once again that Georgia Republicans have gerrymandered the state in a way to hold Republican majority representatives. If not for this, Georgia would be a Blue state.
He's apparantly forgotten about Vince Foster...Whitewater...oh and BenghazeeeeeeeeeOriginally Posted by panama hat
Please tell me what you would like to have proof of. Demographics? Who hates Clinton? Women offended by sexist strikes at Clinton? Republican gerrymandering? Be more specific.Originally Posted by RPETER65
^^Your statement right there, about Clinton striving to acquiring power, whether true or not, is one of the reasons why Republicans will damage themselves attacking her.
Men, especially in politics, strive to gain power as a matter of course. Attacking a females/female politicians for doing the same is sexist. Period. Times have changed from yours and younger people accept and appreciate women with power.
Also, let's see some proof that Clinton was fired from the Watergate investigation. Unfounded statement on some fwd fwd fwd fwd email doesn't count.
^ Which one is Hillary?
If you cared to check it is a well documented fact not some fwd fwd fwd.
Nothing about being sexists but about the fact she is willing to do anything to satisfy her quest for power, no different than many male politicians. You seem to claim sexist sexist sexist at every opportunity then on the hand you cry for equal rights for women, if women expect everything to be equal men to women the word sexist is out the door level playing field including registering for the draft, same basic training for men and women no separation you make it or you don't, and so for the private sector. I worked many years in construction when doing work for the govt. we had to have a certain percent women and minorities most of the women were given jobs that were not needed because they could not perform at the same level as the men, you talk sexism but you want equal rights but only when they come with special exceptions.
^ Indeed, it is not a well documented fact. It is a discredited myth. Either you have some proof, or you don't.
Yet you use this particular point to condem Clinton. Sexist.Originally Posted by RPETER65
