Don't you know that the valid definition of peace or ceasefire in that region is that Israel cannot shoot back?

If the Israelis are looking around for trash, they needn't search as far as their mirrors.....

Really, there were more than 100 rockets fired from Gaza during the last few days? How long can anybody expect Israel to NOT shoot back? And if they do, they do it so it hurts. Getting those who ordered the firing seems appropriate to me.

You counted every one? How many landed within the pre 1967 borders of the country of Israel?

The strong Israeli leaders ignored them...

Strange as it may seem, the retaliation is wanted and is a sign of weakness....

Actually WW3 started nearly 20 years ago with the 1993 WTC bombing. Or ya could go back to 1983 and the Beirut marine barracks bombing. That was when the USA should have turned Mecca into glass. IMHO!

Here's a map showing how terrorism allowed the Jews to expropriate Palestinian land with the connivance of the western powers.

Correct, neverending Arab terrorism and war threads caused that expansion. Everytime they waged a war they lost some territory.

Hats off to Israel in carrying out a deserved surgical strike. They could have just fired indiscriminately, as Hamas do, and killed many innocent people.

The Israelis are in it to survive. Every act of Arab aggression has resulted in an expansion of Israeli territory. Further Arab hostilities should expect the same again.

You would think the Arabs might figure out how aggression against Israel is a lose/lose proposition. There's no fucking way Israel is going away unless the whole ME is turned into glass.

BTW there is no such thing as a historical Palestine. There never was a Palestinian nation nor should there ever be. The recent events in Gaza only serve to underline this notion.

I like this map better , ie the bigger picture ...
The green and red countries are Muslim
get your magnifying glass out to find Israel ..
why don't all those huge countries just take the moral high ground , and take in all the Muslims from that tiny old Roman Provence once called Palestine ?
they could even put a fence around Israel and leave them to it .

Yep, if the dumb arabs stopped waging war, they wouldn't lose territory to the Israelis.

Yeah, odd how none of those countries offer shelter for their Muslim brethren....

those rockets that fly over the border, barely hit anyone....
that are self-manufactured explosives, not strong....

and also, its not an "official" hamas attack, there are some nutjobs that do this...
its not anything that the country "gaza" does do or organize or agree to...

dont forget, they are still "occupied" - the palestinians, and israel does settle the west bank exentsively... that causes frustration...
also, israel rejects a palestinian state, giving up the territories...

It might not have been called 'palestine', but neither was it 'Israel'.
The ground where israel now is was occupied and not by the Jews (ok, the odd jew is believed to have lived in the area.) and those people, who had lived there for millenia and had ancestral roots and property there on the land now called Israel, were forced off their ancestral lands and herded into the desert.
There are people alive now who remember being marched of their land that they maybe can see, some occupying jew sitting where he used to sit on his grandfathers knee, saying "this is mine now and if you dare to fight for it back we'll have the whole world calling you a trrorist".

I hope that you mean Fag as in slang for cigarette rather than the public school slang.
My mind refuses, to conjure up the picture of a burly truck driver bent over a public school boy.
