    Bird problem

We have small birds for some peculiar reason living inside the aircon compressor, crapping all over the balcony and whatever may be hanging out there, don't mind the chirping but getting pissed off with ms k getting pissed off at me because, well, because. Our makeshift scarecrows have crap all over them. Don't want to murder them, can't be bothered to wait for them to die off naturally and stroller lives too far away, so is there something they don't like that'll maybe wise them up that they're real loveable but not wanted?

In my apartment block, people usually put netting over the entry and exit points. Of course, if you do this when they're in there, they'll die.

This is always a problem for people who have boats as the seagulls sit on the boom and crap on the deck.

You could try a fake hawk or cat but you'll probably find it necessary to move it fairly regularly otherwise the birds realise it is just part of the architecture. Some people string up old CDs as the flashing is supposed to put them off.
    Lord, deliver us from e-mail.

I reckon just take the cover or casing off, shoo the birds out, dispose of the nest and crap, then wrap the AC unit in fine chicken wire.
Good honest work and keeps it simple.
There are some commercial bird repellants, but I wouldn't know where to get them here. Tesco's?
