Jeez, you know you need to run for cover when the Economist basically decides to call you a moron.

To listen to Romney in this past week - and I heard an entire stump speech last night - he is just tossing out the platitudes and catch-phrases that he thinks the Americans want to hear - the truth doesn't matter one bit. He is just a weather vane... Sh!t like "Obama is gutting medicare, I am going to save it."

It's enough to make a thinking person sick - the only reason it might work for him is because the target is the low-information undecided voter.
