    A monarchy?

Many countries throughout the world are ruled by Kings and Queens. In today's world is this necessary or an ancient evil tradition?

Most are powerless pampered nymphs. And that's the way it should be. I have a poodle myself.

Very few countries are ruled by Kings 'n Queens today, actually.

The few remaining monarchies are mostly symbolic, as the real power rests with the elected representatives.

I think monarchies are a bit silly in this day and age, but if a country wants to keep them - have the public vote on it.

I jsut had a look on wiki for "monarchy" (had to cut and past it as that's quite a difficult one )

Absolute monarchy's Bhuthan, Brunei, Oman, Quatar, Saudi, Swaziland and Tha Vatican City (theocrasy).

Does'nt really fill you with confidence on the idea does it
