Some sites show a section of a big map, e.g. this site: Bangkok City Map , but it's made up of lots of smaller images - there is no single big image you can download or save.

However, the Firefox extension "Pearl Crescent Page Saver" allows you to do just that - save the entire page as a .png or .jpg file.

For example, you can save a TD forum page from top to bottom, just like this: https://teakdoor.com/travellers-tales...-thailand.html

The original .jpg saved was 3.5 MB and can be zoomed to normal size without loss of quality. I reduced the quality to just 2% of the original (200 KB) to get it uploaded.
