Sent me to another shop and the man took my name - read horoscope - gave me a pebble.
I had to go up the mountain where this sort of pebble was found and find one of the same sort of rock that had a 'harmonious' shape.

Went and found one and a few days later the completed chop was delivered .

Hand engraved - no machinery at all, even in slicing the stone in half !

Was delivered in a little laquered case with an ink pad and the spare bit of rock as well so that the overall profile could not be reproduced !

    Cost ? - about 40$US

Have used it for the last 20 years and is one of my prized possessions !

AV is bigger than the actual chop

    Bloody amazing workmanship !

    Very sad.

One of the most decent posters on the board.

Folk of his ilk are few and far between.

    RIP Happy, I'll miss you.

I heard a short while ago via e-mail from TSR2.

    It's so sad.

He was a wonderful contributor to TeakDoor. Extremely knowledgeable in many spheres, he will be very sadly missed.

Wish I had met him in the flesh, have spoken to him on here and via e-ail for some three years or so now.

    A thorough Gentleman.

    RIP Peter, ( Happyman.)

Sincere condolences to family and friends.

    Mathos & Flobo.

Another name that I will come across in my telephone directory (Happy Pete) that I will not be able to erase.

Shit, these sad events are becoming more frequent of late.

    RIP Pete...

I had the pleasure of spending time with Happyman while visiting Phuket on a few occasions... Genuinely nice guy, well traveled and a wealth of anecdotal experiences in Asia & around the world...

Sad news. Seemed like a content and amiable guy who had found a happy place to live out his days.

Maybe put RIP under his av like the other 3 TD'ers who have logged off in the last year.
