Pattaya have a few, one is this one with a broad selection comparable to your normal smallish bookshop -

Kinokunya in Emporium and that new place. New books from 350B each. Similar prices to what the 2nd hand places sell them for on KSR.

Fuzzy Ken's in Udon Thani. If you dont mind the journey. There's no indexing or cataloguing of any kind, though. Maybe that's why its called Fuzzy Ken's.

No offense, Ken. You are a great bloke, hospitable and always up for a chat.

They're also covered in a few inches of dust like the rest of the place.

Dasa Book Cafe in Bangkok has over 15,000 used book in a data base that can be downloaded. You can only make payment thru Bangkok Bank to their account, and the books will be sent thru Thai Post.
I recently bought 10 books and had very prompt service to my home in Khao Sai.

    Used paperbacks

Cheapest I have found in Pattaya is at Charity Bookshop "Thais4Life" on Soi Yensabai just off Soi V.C. All books are 80 Baht with halfprice exchange. Also some DVD's at 20 baht.

Try Soi Chaiyapoon off Soi Bukaow. The Canterbury Tales Guest House has a good selection of everything that would keep the average Pattaya dweller interested. Loads of True Crime, Sports, Thai themed books. 150-200 baht with the 50 per cent buy back offer.
Does a good breakfast too and has free internet.
