Hi Everyone,

Im fairly new to Pattaya and im getting a bit sick of sitting around in my room, browsing the net for most of the day, I was wondering if anyone knows any great places where i can meet people for example any social groups etc. Or any activities that i could do during the day?

Do you play golf, (there are heaps of golfing societies).

Have you been to Nong Nuch Village, The Crocodile or the Elephant Farm, The Floating Markets or The Darkside. The baht buses can take you to these places.

You can also arrange a trip out to see the Tigers (I forget the name of the Zoo) or any of the many farang owned bars (British style) always have some characters in them and to keep you amused.

There are also many nice beaches down south and there are also many threads on here where you can gain all the information you need. Oh yes and Soi Yodsak!

By the way have you had your slippery massage yet?

Yeah i have been doing the pubs and bars i was wondering if there were social groups to meet new friends like weekly movies and dinner that sort of thing, or what should i be doing to gain friendships when at the pubs and bars.

Welli have been travelling for the past 4months, im Australian, iv spent most of my time in chaing mai. I like to have a beer ar 3 or 5, and hanging out in bars is always welcome, with a bit of dancing. Im looking for a social network as it get boring with hanging out with one person all of the time, so im in need of more variety, hence the post. Ill be out of pattaya for a few months as off to the phillipines but will be back after that. No slippery massage yet, thats next week, but had a soapy shower the other night at airport (later found out i had to pay for it 500baht and then they took my tips)

There's a great group of culturally diverse people, including couples who meet out at the bars on the Darkside and it is a different atmosphere to Pattaya City.

Maybe you and your bloke should head out this way sometime.

Sorry, but that made me laugh out loud. Funny.

Anyway, if you have the chance, learn to dive. You will meet people, and spend time doing stuff. Diving is not the best in pattaya (but great for learning to dive), but depending on where you go in Philippines, the dving there is awesome.

Beware though, its an addictive hobby.

what you want to do is to go to Centara hotel on Wong amat beach. Its a new 5star hotel with a nice gym. You join the gym and have then acsess to all the facileties in the hotel. The beautiful landscape, the swimming pools, the beach and so on. Now you have a five star way of spending your days, meeting people and life luxourious at a modest price.
If you are really hot, a good looking young babe and want a papa to take advantage of you, just ask for me.
If you are further into sports you add fairtex to you list of memberships, its a sports club with good facilities. Also a good way of meeting sober normal people.

The starting to find all the good meal deals around town, but thats another story.
There are great deals to be had.
Then off course sosialy interacting wth the main habitants of this country, the thais.
I do this 3-4 times a week now short time to give them good sex. they really appresiate this. I think they feel loved.
