    A triple E shoe (width)

    Hi Folks,

Am from the USA (good place to be FROM).

In a previous life I was in the Army.....9.5 triple E was my boot size.

Of course looking for wide shoes in LOS falls on deaf ears.

Any ideas on where to find triple E (wide) shoes in LOS???

I just bought a pair of 11 (USA sized) of Adidas running shoes.

    The left one fits great.

The right one is a torture chamber......

Not looking to lay blame anywhere except on my tortured little toe on my right foot.

EE or EEE shoes would be super cool to find here in LOS though....

    Thanks,
    Jay

I'd say your first problem is calling them triple E. I doubt the locals have any idea what you are talking about. Try to find out what the local conversion would be, possibly in metric. Then try to find an import shop or just have them tailor made.

Sadly, the other guys are right. You'll either have to wait for a trip back home or get them tailor-made in one of the larger cities. There might be a possibility at one of the larger malls in Bangkok but I wouldn't hold my breath. It's hard enough for me with normal width 11.5 to 12 size, but EEE! Wow!

Since New Balance went to China, the wide sizes are not longer wide. The New Balance sold in the malls so labeled are still just too narrow.

In Big C, there is a sandal made by Stuttgart which is wide. Comes in brown and black. Not adjustable. The sandal part is on the outside of the sole. Don't confuse this with the light brown type with velcro as those are shite, come unglued. The sole itself sort of cubes. This line also sold in Central department stores with leather uppers. In Toyko department as well in BAngkok attached to MBK.

Big C. - 600, the upscale ones, 1200-2000baht. (the upscale ones which adjust may be okay, just avoild the shit sold in CarreFour)

For sneakers never had any luck what so ever. Some high school student shoes run wide but they hurt the bottom of your feet if you actually walk in them as just a rubber sole, no thought about comfort or being sturdy or foot support.

You can wear socks with the Stuttgart for actual walking as a form of exercise. Not to jog of course.

    Cheeers. Nok

Order from Cabellas or some co in the USA,
Freight adds some to the cost, but what the fuck, you gonna be on your feet all your life and my feet are never painful and I been using them daily for 76 years and a lot of the time in custom made work boots and shoes,, never hear about me having to cut corns and callouses off.
Now I order Sperry Topsiders or Timberland deck shoes from there.

Fuck, EEE.EEEE must be like wearing swim fins all the fucking time.
