    Never heard of that.

Or fully understand it in terms construction contractors.

Wait a minute. I just looked at the post count in that thread, and you have the second most posts in that thread. What gives?

Sorry Snubs. Let me clarify. After the initial kick of that thread I was disgusted and said so in my numerous posts. After that I vowed never to return. Mendys 1st post was enough to make anyone "Ralph". So when I saw it pop up again I steered clear. I assumed it was another pic or 4 that would cause nightmares. Lesson learned.

You were repeatedly posting in it a month after he started it.

So your "Humor" picture of the guy measuring his grass height (which you have posted twice now) is not how I am at all.
the fact that you found it necessary to rebuff that is most telling.

    the chimp
Go on then, link these pics of my home that I have posted.
you have made half a million posts, nearly all of them nonsense. but it IS there, so you fucking find it.

KW posted a living room shot of the condo in Asia that he BBQ'd on the balcony in, during some rugby or cricket or some other god forsaken fake-sport event when some mates were over or sumfing.

    Looked really nice.

So growing up a few things I learned from my friends is that perception drives a lot, for good or bad. I have numerous friends in the states that own construction companies and either build custom homes, renovate or do basic repairs. Having said that, many of our talks and laughs around weekend BBQ parties it always seems to surface about some recent jobs they had or are currently working on. I can tell you with confidence that the help you contract to do jobs will invariably assess how much effort they are going to have to put into it based on how someone keeps their place. Right or wrong, that is just how it is. If someone's place is a mess and poorly maintained they will do what needs to be done to complete the job but will not go to any real lengths to do a great job. However if they see a client has a clean, well kept place they know the expectations are higher thus they will do a better job knowing that their client will be paying attention to that work. Again, just how it is.
Great point and well stated! The stupid like button will not allow me to like your post until I spread more likes to other members!

I remember that...He was showing off his new wall mounted TV but with dangling cables that set off my OCD and needed hiding away. On the tv appeared to be some strange homo-erotic looking Aussie sport with a load of moustachioed blokes with mullets in tight shorts.

Also noticed some nice looking steaks on his balcony bbq, a crate of Carlsberg and a bottle of Amyl Nytrate on his mantelpiece.
Your typical Aussie party I guess.

    Yeah, I don’t think I’ve drunk Carlsberg since 1989…

But a picture of a tv on a wall ain’t a picture of my place, but okay…

To have a little fun with tax,

I mowed my front lawns this morning. Rather than use an abacus as Tax would use being he is an old coffin dodger. I use technology.

I mean I do not want to come across as obsessive or anything....HHAHAHA. Lets see if Tax sees the humor in that

With the high temps as they have been I decided to swap out the LED bathroom lights for a LED with fan set up. My wife loves it. Easy peasy switch.

After the recent crazy storm I realized that we had a few CCTV's in poor locations. I welded up a pole and cemented it in place and my wife friend who owns a CCTV business came by and moved the camera for a better field of view.

    Almost lunch time

    Ribeye for lunch........

Me neither. That would be a game changer in my downstairs loo as I sweat to death when I meditate for too long.

Yup, first time seeing one too.

We have/had similar b/r windows, removed the glass panes leaving only the mozzy nets, really multiplies the natural light and natural ventilation. No fear of intruders or voyuers.

I gotta say, my wife found them online and ordered one. I installed in about 30 minutes and it is not only brighter lighting wise but the fan moves some good air. It comes with a remote so if you drop a deuce that is stinking the place up, you can kick the fan into high to clear it out.

    Big win over all

The BR doesn't have an extractor fan in the ceiling?

Nope Mr DIY. We do not live in a condo or a small Villa. Most larger built homes do not have extractors, just so you know... Most have large bathrooms so the addition of fan is to help.
