That's quite a few trips in such a short time. I bet you've managed to do loads in that time? Trekking in the mountains near Chiang Rai, rock climbing in Krabi, scuba diving from one of hundreds of islands, gone on a meditation course at a wat, a health spa on Koh Samui, rugby tours in Phuket, Bangkok, Pattaya or Chiang Mai, slow boat down the Mekong; I really envy you.

Crap - all my years of living here I have done one of those - mountains in Chiang Rai. Of course I am not interested in the rugby tours, wat mediation and health spa. Slow boat on the Mekong sounds good. I need to get out and do some things

I got one of those ticked off too and that's the same as Chi, had a good couple of days in the golden triangle though.

I'm going to try to get to Krabi for a bit this time.

You will enjoy it. I am planning a January trip there. Phuket is crap, but Krabi is great. The people are real nice - at least that was my experience.

Yeah I don't think i'll go back to Phuket for a long time if at all but Krabi looks and sounds very nice, I want to chill out and relax!

Also going to try for a few days on Koh Chang..catch up with Pickel and teach him how to drink properly
