November Rain, your welcome is appreciated.

Just done the weekend on nights, time went sooooo slowly, Worked with lots of retards. All very annoying.
But the countdown continues, now 101 days.

Amused myself by looking at flights and somewhere to stay.

I feel some serious misbehaving coming on. Need to supass my previous trips , so it could get messy....I hope so.

November Rain, you don't work where I do for sure, you'd have ended it all long ago if you did.
Nice to know I'm not suffering alone .

Mamali50...Thanks for sound and thoughtful advice. You are of course absolutly right, But I choose to ignore your wisdom and revert to self abuse to pass the time.
I think Mr Earl was right..I probably am insane. Does that make me a retard too ?

    Hi All.

Quick update, After another hell shift. I booked my flight yesterday. Got a good deal...£511 return with Emirates. 3 month ticket.

So as I wake up this morning..it's 91 days to go.

Glad I've got this website to keep me amused, thanks to all.

No update from Thailand...my T-rak still loves me, and me only, and she's waiting for me...in the bar.
Maybe some of you guys can visit her....stop her getting bored !

    Thanks again.

Paul (still bored, but feeling happier)

I don't know if anyone is interested in my situation....but here goes.

There's been a dramatic twist to my situation, it's no longer 105 days or as the count would be now...61.
My g/f, has just been given a visa to visit the u.k.
So on 13th sept she will be here.

So ,I don't expect to be bored anymore...broke maybe , but not bored.
Violent sex is back on the menu !!!

So the plan is for us to go back together in Dec.

I'll keep working with all the retards for a bit longer and get some more ££.

God know what my family will say...I'm going to be living with a 10 y.o hooker from Pattaya.

Colour of life Paul......colour of life.........

Whilst your 19 yo hooker may be used to working with retards, I'm not convinced she will enjoy the UK very much. Good luck anyhow. A family cousin went to Manchester with her tilaac, and was back in three months.

    Hi All.

Well my Tirak made it here. Usual crap trying to get a Thai person organised...go to embassy....get ticket..... blah blah blah. Then the airport process... Anyway she's here. Staying with her parents , but I go to pick her up on Friday and and bring her back to Dundee, where I'm sure she'll integrate nicely into life on the Dundee Riviera. !!

Honestly....I have no idea how it's going to pan out.... maybe she'll go back after a few weeks. Actually it doesn't matter.....nothing matters. I don't want to sound unkind, but it's just another adventure for me.

Just writing this in case 'anyone' was interested ....anyone ??

    Hi All.
I see I've had a lot of hits on here but not too many comments, but I'll post an update anyway.

My Tirak has done very well so far, of course she's bored when I'm at work, Thai people don't do 'lonely' ! But our time spent together has been good. Went to Edinburgh last week, now in Somerset for the 'Family visit'.

It's funny for me to read everyone's minds....yeah I'm 51 and she's 19 so what !!! When I see how normal and boring all my friends lives are it makes me feel good that I've got a great adventure going here. Of course it won't be forever...but for now I'm happy.

I'll update again when we return to The Dundee Riviera. I hate it as much as my Tirak but I'm lucky to be working and I have to..so thats it.
I've got Dec off by using all my holidays and Jan off with no pay and a job to reurn to in Feb....I call that a result.

Hope I don't get too many 'Thai girl' moments in the next few weeks,

    Chock Dee all

    Paul

    Good website,

    Paul
    Survive?

I am sorry to tell you this, but you got the Isarn Blues. (Judging by your nick)

You need to think back on what you did in your leisure time prior to your first trip to Thailand.

I relocated back from Thailand to my native country a decade ago.
I couldnt be happier about that choice.
    Boredom?
I just dont have the time for that.
I have a job that I like with good coworkers.
I engage in various sports badminton, tennis, study a foreign language 3 times a week.
I have a boat, a canoo and a kayak which gives me great pleasure, either when going fishing or paddling.
My family lives here and so do my friends.
I never go out and I have no inclination to do so.
I am recently divorced and a single dad with 2 my sons, obviously the joy and pride of my life.

I have seen too many people thinking like you. Never appreciating what they have in their own neck of the woods, living in limbo and just thinking of their next trip to alcohol infused sexual fantasy land.
This is just not very productive to say the least.
Surprised you had time to tell us about it on a Thai expat forum? Do you have your canoo etc in your basement?... since you never go out??

must admit though don't remember being bored in cold wet northern Canada. Don't remember being sober either....

Goodonya anyways ..boredom in Thailand is not for the faint of heart...

Her parents live in the UK? Isn't that unusual for a bar girl to have the kind of family that could immigrate?
    Or have I misunderstood?

ha ha a 19 year old, and you call your work mates retards.

I just had a conversation with my 24 year old daughter last night. She and her mates have changed their local, because of the immaturity of the 18-21 year olds that have taken over their old place.

I know that you haven't brought her to your place for her conversation, but if you have more than 2 brain cells then you should soon be bored of her.

Firstly, a lot of us live here, so its not really an issue.

How about getting a second job in the evenings - do a shift down your local pub. You get out, socialize and earn money all at the same time....

Hi All, Here is my last update before I return to Thailand on 12 Dec. It's been a long and touturous wait at times, but having my 19 y.o Tirak here has filled any dull moments.
I'll be going for 4 months and going to marry my Tirak....why not ?
    Another adventure beckons...

Things went well generally for us on The Dundee Riviera, of course she got bored , worst for me was that she didn't sleep at sensible O'clock because she'd slept most of the day. She woke me a few times, so I told her...
'If you wake me up again, I'll buy you a puppy'
    'Why a puppy' she replied
So I explained that I would buy her a puppy, a really cute one, let her fall in love with it. Then kill it in front of her eyes. DON'T WAKE ME UP !!
That did the trick and peaceful nights followed.

So, Thailand time at last....been a long wait for me.
Any fellow Teak Doorites up for a beer at xmas/new year ?

I'll be there. Paul is back in town....

Thanks for the update, Paul. I won't be in Thailand until Feb or March and I'll be going to BKK and Phuket, possibly with another trip in central Thailand, like Kanchanaburi area. All the best to you and chok dee.
