I'm seriously thinking of setting up on that MM2H deal anyway, because Thailand is such a banana republic and seemingly getting worse. The only thing that really stays me at the moment is my wifes village. Fuck Thailand, or at least it's pathetic government.

Blimey, 10 years of assured Visa, can come and go as you want, how good is that?

yes splurge from miles away.. I am a bumi..you seem knowing Malaysia so well, dont you?

Thats good if you think to settle up on MM2H program, pretty much agreed!so you must be expat married with Thais?

I like Thailand beaches, but not the city..just too busy surrounding..its just not me..especially Krabi...wow so amazing! I really fallen in love with the place...

I was born in the UK, grew up in Australia, worked all over but mostly Sydney and HK. Confused childhood. Lived here for going on 5 years.

Theres a lot to like about Thailand too, prolly easier for the visitor.
I'm off to Penang at the end of Oct, apart from catching up with my mum I hope to see an old Tamil mate of mine, started off a humble fisherman when I knew him back in '82, done well for himself since.

Not a suprise I heard a lots UK Nationality migrate to Australia..pretty nice down there! I've been in Sydney..its really awesome..

Not many. Mostly a bunch of well traveled Mat Salleh who for many reasons ended up in Thailand.
