    Where do I plug in?

walking the streets pissed at 3:00 am. Need a place to sit a spell. This stool taken?

back in the day there were guys that would ordinarily be quite amazed, but I'm not back there, and I was one of them. That was back in the day.
Frequent flyer miles were never had by me; even though, I flew now and again, just not frequently. They say that misery loves company. She sure does, two at a time if she can get 'em. But she is not with me now. That was quite some time ago. We parted ways in the modern way-court battle to the death of all we built. Like I said, misery loves company. So, the jet landed and I stepped out. The thick warm air of Bangkok was a welcome sight to this cold hearted Pond Water Prophet. I reached in my pocket for my wad of cash, and found the people of Thailand just like they said-smiling.
The good nature of tropical heat and monsoon rains washed away my last sour thought of lawyers and cops. Through the gnarled sois and backstreet walks I'd stroll, searching, which one today, which one today. Each passerby was like a new face of an old friend distant but close. The beer was long in coming, but it did come. It quenched that part of me that had dried up long before TEFL became a household name. The cold bottles pressed against my forehead, fortold of the coming sun. Too weary and too blind to the heat of that sun, it soon burnt away the last layer of heart I wore upon my sleeve. I would walk again, and never come back to this place. It was too crowded, because misery loves company.

After what seemed like a summer night's stroll along the klong, there came a sunrise. The kind that makes you stop and wonder. So, I stood and wondered. I thought, "It is possible for some tables to have less chairs or more, as long as, everyone had a seat." I nodded approvingly to myself. I was finally going to find that extra spot. It was at the end, but I was ok with that; there was no one else there. With cold beer ordered up, I'd sing a new song, do a little dance, make a little love and of course it meant I'd have to teach. But, there was room for that. Hell the glass was half-full. During my second song, she walked in, because misery loves company.

I don't know CMn, that goes close to the 'wall of words' category.

    hi duncecap.

so after helping my son with so many bloody comprehension exercises lately, I think i can gather from your post that you are a divorced teacher who likes to use a lot of words.
