Welcome here, Grower
Hey Gypsy, that's nice to hear. Can you grow year round up there? I hear it gets a bit chilly in the north during the winter. I checked out your link; I love yellow chinense, so your kind offer of seeds is accepted. Give me a month or two to stabilize my present grow and I'd love to grow them. Aji Umba look delicious.
My problem down here is the high temps; which have finally moderated. All of my plants are flowering and 2 are podding up (orange and red Habs). Last March, I only got 4 good pods off of the Costa Rican Red I have; but they were delicious. Then a 90 day heat wave and everything shut down to maintenance level. Cheers.

Hi Grower,
I posted before, but it seems to have been deleted, I know not why, about pics of your plants.
My wife is a mad keen gardener, up here in the North, and she's love to see what you're producing down south.
A lot of her plants are cuttings from the mountains that surround us. She get's all kinds of weird stuff. Some of it probably quite rare.
Me, I know nothing.

Yep, all year round. November/December is the period these Adji umba have their nice fruits... They also not suffer from the heat too much; I keep 'm shaded under nets or in the shade of big plants. Most damage is done when you forget to give water for a day, or when air humidity is high and the peppers just rot away before you can pick them.Originally Posted by Grower
Would also love to see some different varieties, so 'see ya' tomorrow!
^ Tomorrow it is.
Here's a few pics of what I've got;
I've got a total of 31 plants, so this isn't all of them. I'll start a thread if there isn't already one going. I've got a blog but can't post links yet.
