It occured to me that sometimes folks come along and want to join in but feel a little overwhelmed by the fact that most of the posters know eachother and as such feel a little bit like an outsider. Dont. If you are the slightest bit inquisitive or even just plain mad then you will certainly be welcomed here at Teakdoor.
Please feel free to post a g'day here. Dont feel compelled to tell your lifestory. Just introduce yourself and we can take it from there.

Hi jai dee, I have just been reading your thread in thaivisa about your up and coming trip to siam reap, Have you been yet? I want to go next month but was thinking of flying into PP and travelling from there.

Hi DD,
Actually we didn't end up going as the remnants of that cyclone swept over Cambodia and we were told that the roads were impassable.

We'll have another go later in the dry season.
You should be OK if you're flying in though.

We went instead to Arunyaprathet, then Surin, then Khao Phra Wihan, then up to Prathai, down to Korat, then back via the Khaow Yai National Park.

Geeez it was beautiful... Isaan in the wet season... fields of green... a great trip.

thanks for the html - this first trial mp3 file is BIG - will cut down both in length and on voice quality on the next ones - I am afraid your dial up

might just not cut it

dd your computers can download - at any convenient hour ( that's the beauty of podcasting) any podcast feed, by subscribing -

also try to click the LISTEN button rather than downloading the feed ... tell me if that works any better, ta!

A few years ago I bought a cam and a mike, thought it would be nice to send short messages that way to the family, first one I done was 30 seconds, I can't remember how many mbs it came to but it wasn't worth sending.

the listen button works on the dial up but it gives like 3 words then breaks for 5 seconds, then another 3 words.

Downloading I know quite a bit about as I have downloaded over 60gb on this pc, took 3 years though

whenever I am not using the pc it is downloading, either mp3s or cracked software

lol ok dd guess you'll have to get all the gossip via somebody else that's on dsl
