Hi, Davis,
You are quite correct. I've actually been registered on this site for a couple years, but never got around to posting. I'm not even sure how to respond to your note. I don't know if I have to try to send this as a personal response or follow a thread or whatever. We'll see.
Last time I visited was for 4 months in 2004 when I was selected for a special DOJ detail to work with the Thai army in clearing out the residual Hmong folks at Wat Thamkrabak. Quite successful, in that we got around 14K to the US.
I was in contact wtih Ted Stone not long ago and he said that he would try to look you up and give you my e-mail (liam.foote[at]gmail.com).
Look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers and best regards,
Liam
Howdy. Where are you located these days? Imee and I are in the Philippines, south of Manila down Batangas way. Have twins (one boy, one girl) born in 1999. I retired in 2000, and stayed on here. Still get to LOS once a year or so and see Pin and Randy and a bunch of other folks. Nice to touch base again after so many years. Dave

That would have been the era of Pat Cotter and 007 at Goldfingers? well early 90's anyway. Oh and Lek, there was definately a Lek and a Pen and a .....
Some other well known names there as well, but maybe best not mentioned....
Hi, all,
Thanks for the responses to my initial post, particularly from Khun Davis. Good to hear from you. I've also heard from DJ Art of Super Star, though via a different network. Ed Stone was also in touch recently.
Odd that there has been nothing from anyone at Madrid. I assume Daeng is still there and cranking out the meals and good will. What about Vinai and Jules and Khun An?
I also sent a note to Eric John and was not particularly surprised to receive no response at this time. Keep up the trombone work, sir.
Davis, great to hear the family news. Send a note to my regular e-mail when you have a moment, [liam.foote[at]gmail.com]
Cheers, everyone,
Liam
