    My English has been corrected a few times here, but I have managed to survive even though I'm not a native speaker.

    Not when you see the Danish immigration laws...
    BBC NEWS | Europe | Denmark's immigration issue

    It cost me $8,000+ to get a residence permit for my Thai wife... and it's not even permanent yet, it will not be permanent until she have stayed in DK for more than 7 years

    Yeah, that'd be the downside - I agree. Stick around and try to help explain that to boonme and the other forum conservatives who see Denmark as heroes for their attitude to (non-white) foreigners.

    A lot of my customers at the airport are Dutch and at times I really cant understand them.
