Hello Members of Teak Door!
My name is Norman Groeneweg, 63 years old, nice to meet you folks.
I'm born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, during the war but grew up in Indonesia, Island Java, in the town Bogor near the Salak mountain and the sleeping but smoking Gede Volcano.
Since 1956 my family moved back to The Netherlands, kicked out by the late Indonesian President Sukarno.
My English grammar is mostly a mash but I do my best. I'm a former businessman and painter but now I like to see how the grass is growing and will paint landscapes, flowers, still lives in Thailand in the nearby future.
Just want to send a hello out of the Dutch meadows, to be exact the Frisian meadows
In a couple of years I am going to retire in the Issan, most probably in or outside Korat where my gf lives.
I have been several times in LOS, the first time in 1951 when I was 8 years old, that was in the year 1951.
The last time was in 1981...The next time will be in September/October 2006 and September/October 2007.
The planning is to retire in LOS in 2008.
I'm devorced and have 4 nice children who are living in Europe.
See you later in real or virtual at this forum.
Grtz
Norman
