Thread: Yet another newbie

Hi all. Im another "escape" from the nazi moderated thaivisa. After 1100 posts there i got banned for making the mods loose face (nope, i was completely within the forumrules, they tried to make it "discussion of moderation" but it was not). They were wrong, i was right. 6 posters came quickly on my side and they also got banned for life and all posts deleted. So, searching around for a little bit more "freespeach" forum i found this one, and it seems to have some traffic and is about Thailand so i figure i try it out.

I lived i Koh samui 3 years now, with my thai wife and our son (1year and 3 months). We will be moving to my country of origin, Sweden, within a short period of time, but im hoping to get back to thailand every year on long term holidays, and the future plan is within 2-3 year to live half year in each country.

Anyway, im happy that i found this forum, seems like a cool place and i will try to contribute with knowledge and information. I hope to gain dito from you guys.

I set my location as Koh samui. For some reason "karon beach" popped up under my username. I didnt write that. Why is it there and how do i get rid of it?

Yeah, it seems to be a little lghter moderation over here to say the lest. Thaivisa is fun only because there is many members. But the moderators there really takes all the fun out of it.
