    Newbie

    Hello All,
I Just signed up on this expat site. I'll just tell you a bit about myself. I'm British, I don't actualy live in Thailand, I live and work in China for the past nine years.
I just bought a house in Thailand, about half hour from Pattaya. I'll be retiring in about two years and plan to spend a lot of time there.

After I read some of your post, I can see that you all have a good sense of humour. and you have a lot of knowledge which I hope you can share.

So! I hope some of you experienced 's can give me some good advice.

    Best regards
    Kaviar

When you've lived in China for so long, you start to write in Chinglish

Greetings Kaviar and welcome to Teakdoor. You seem to have quickly mastered the art of inserting smilies, in your texts. The next logical step would be photos and these are always well received, so feel free to jump straight in and share the ups, downs and, otherwise sideways, parts of your life and/or history.

Seriously! I'm really impressed with TD, So many expats here with loads of experience and stories. I just bought a house not far from Pattaya and being a bit of a greenhorn here, it's kinda comforting to know there are a lot of expats on TD who have can give lots of info and advice.
I'll be back in Thailand in a couple of weeks to officially take over the property. So I'm hoping to get lots of advice from you guys.

    Rds.........Kaviar
