Thread: Another hello

wassup all,

Great forum, I've been browsing for weeks and decided to join the club. I'd just like an honest answer about the ajarn hating though if it's possible - are there some bad human examples that have set this forum alight or is it just on general principlal? I'll spare you my background, but would like to know how it is that such a fun site would discard half (?) of the expat population in LOS. Well that's my rant, back to the knickers thread!

Let me be the first to welcome you. I am one of the bad human examples - wait until you meet the hounds - that you refer to & nobody is discarded here. Forget Ajarn or TV or wherever you are from & enjoy this place for what it is.

Thanks R.L., I plan to enjoy and add where I can, just thought the forums might just agree to disagree is all. This site seems great for all things we come to LOS for and stay in LOS for, the others have their own niche.

Thanks everyone, I guess focussing on the flame threads doesn't give a clear picture of the teak door mission. If they weren't so darned hilarious I'd probably just ingnore them!

Anyway, I've been to LOS twice and am planning to come again soon for a good long spell. When I do make the trip over, are there any haunts in Bangkok common to the forum? I'll look around here myself, but first round's on me for any suggestions

^ The travel threads are a great source of inside information for any visitor to LOS

The Capt Lounge is mostly expat banter and the flame threads just a pile of rubbish but carry on if you find them amusing

Baseball fan? Blue Jays, when I have to be. I do like the World Series. My fav was the Pirates - ? series in the late 70s. Go Mets, Go Jays, Go...

getting a bit nervous with the sweethart bit, might have to toughen my image up a bit - to the issues room I go!
