I decided to pop in and say hi. I have the same username in the "other' forum.

I mostly post in the Real Estate sections of the site.

Let's hope this place is a little more fun than other places...

Figured as much...What happened this time?...

Well out of the blue I got banned by George a couple of months ago, with plenty of my posts also being permanently deleted.

I queried this with the forum support and I was reinstated about 20 minutes later. The posts were gone though, which was a shame because I normally answer Real Estate queries, some of which are technical and detailed in their reply.

Then over the last few days there has been a (currently) 17 page thread in the support forum about adblocking software. Kind of a war between the site owners and some users.

The tech support admin then suggested that to remove ads the site might consider subscriptions/donations, but I pointed out that the vast majority of my posts help people with their real estate problems.

Why would I pay to spend time regularly helping people?

All in all its nothing particularly bad, just a strange way to treat people.

Well...Stick around and have some fun for a change...

It's a Buffalo Board, after all...Heh...
