a lot of good information, my Thai girl speaks suia, don't know if the spelling is correct or not, also I had my Thai girl purchase me a 12card so I can recharge my Thai sims card, however I am in Iraq and I will not be back until next month, I would like to know if there is a way I can recharge my sims card by calling a certain number or is there a web site I can go to
What do you mean J1m? You're using a Thai SIM card outside of Thailand? I've never heard of that. I'm in the UK and I usually buy a prepaid international card which I use, i.e. I pay the money up front and dial a freephone number to connect internationally.
Back off Margaret, you're on a sugar rush!
^you can use AIS cards in Brisbane, that I do know
No, I use my Asiancell sims card in Iraq, I was just asking if there is a way I can recharge my Thai sims card, before I return to Thailand, my Thai girl has already purchased a 12card for me, and text messaged the recharged number' I was just asking if there is a way to recharge via a phone number or a website, and add the minutes to my sims card
^Is this to keep the number active? With Orange I think they want a balance of around 2000B to keep it active (unused) for six months - most frustrating.
yes to keep it active, however when I left, I still had 900 baht and it stated that it was good until May. I have the 12call Freedom sims card, what is the difference?
No idea I'm afraid - I just buy a new sim at the 7-11 at the airport if my old one doesn't work (100B) - Luckily I don't have many friends so changing my number is no big deal.I have the 12call Freedom sims card, what is the difference?
I think I 12Call is AIS - So you shouldn't have too many problems
Yes you are correct, it is an AIS sims card, I just rechecked my TG's text message and she added AIS to the message along with the recharge number. So all I should have to do when I land in Bangkok is dial *121* and put in the number and be ready to go again. Thanks
Now, since that has been cleared up, what about the language she speaks. I have not found a whole lot of information on her Language
She is from SiSaKet, close to the Cambodia border, soia is the dialet she speaks, anyone have any information on this dialet?
Hi,I need full kit of solar energy complect for my home, Where I can look at thechnical specifications and examples? We search on internet and not find this. Please if you have some instruction please post.
Minority language spoken in only a few areas of Thailand. South Sisaket is one as you say. Very different than Thai or Lao so good luck in learning. Most younger folks can speak Thai but many of the older folks only speak Suay.Originally Posted by jlmcneil

Suggest you look through our Construction Forum. Lots of solar stuff discussed there.Originally Posted by Uttextsem

Solar water heaters quite popular in Thailand and readily available. Solar electric harder to find.
