    Gidday

Hey.. I'm a kiwi , been living in Surat-thani for 2 years now.. most of that in the country, helping run a resort. I'm in town now and loving it.\
Get to go to tesco's once in a while( they have great new mall now, with homepro) ..check out the cuties etc.
On the computer most days..webmastering and generally misbehaving.

Hi & welcome , There are a few Kiwis on this board (my self included).

As a rule they balance out the poms, as they add some much needed class.

    thanks to all

The less said about the cricket the better, A kiwi is a small flightless bird native to newzealand..and a sad perverted expat introduced to many parts of asia.
The resort is in surat-thani bout 2 hours from phuket, I spent 1 1/2 years there with the wife manageing the place.. and trying to get into as many knickers (or bras).. as I could, usually without success.

Now I am in town and looking after my web sites.

Surely you were not too unhappy to see the black caps demolish England?

I know an Englishman living in Phumphin. Do you socialize with the English? Can you understand their expressions? Do you drink till you drop? Did you know they once ruled your island with an iron fist, and ate the indigenees? Do you want his number? I didn't think so.

    You're right!

But did you know it was so named because the inventor's wife was, in fact, a kiwi? Not the bird, the country. Not a lot of people know that.

    Welcome phunphin!

But did you know it was so named because the inventor's wife was, in fact, a kiwi? Not the bird, the country. Not a lot of people know that.
He was married to entire nation state of 4.5+ million souls? Respect. And here they fret about one wife too many... :P

hello...well must say I am more than a bit British as well as kiwi, My dad was born in st Albans and most of my bros and sis's have uk passports.
I lived in london for a year, to see how it was.
And I'm irish on my mothers side... great great grand dad was deported for transporting (wait for it) stolen sheep.

He was probably on the same boat as quite a few of our current members' ancestors.

    Talking

I am off back to NZ soon, been here two years solid and can't put it off any longer...something about this place that gets under your skin.
But the way thailand is heading at the moment, it looks like a good idea.
really feel the shit is yet to hit the fan, politically speaking.
the wife and kid will most likely follow later...maybe!!.
But as they say I will be back..hopefully next time I'll have a bit of money in the bank, and the IRD off my arse.
