Got some vids but will have to try and covert the format, from quick time to wmv.
Have decided to order a 1uz and get it tricked up, maybe a supercharger I see complete kits for USD 5500. Can play with the diesel until its ready.

Well got home a few days ago and took the truck out, the whole turbo snaped off at the exhuast turbo housing so I got a new one ordered from bangkok and have had a reinforced stainless heavy duty manifold made as the weight of the turbo and the torque from the engine kept cracking the old manifold. I get it back in a few hours.
Once this is done I will start on trying to get the suspention right making the pickup a little more streetable and not a foking kangaroo,
I am hoping the axles will hold up for a little while until I get a diff sorted as the axles arent full ingauged inside the diff.
Anyone that wants to know how to take a new truck and over a million baht and turn it into a undrivable piece of shit that has yet to make it more than 100 klm at a time with out foking up is welcome to contact me

Got the truck back today and they did a good job and as you can see from the pictures a lot stronger manifold. They also did some tuning and they truck really feels good and has no problem spinning up the wheels in third at 140 klm/h with only 35psi of boost what ever they did worked also noticed a lot less smoke.
Will get some videos tomorrow if its not raining

No that vid is the first dyno run and was a very rough tune, I have two maps one for every day driving low smoke but still loads of power then just push a buttom and it switches to a full race tune with lots of smoke

^ Good; you wouldn't want that to be the 'less smoke' version. Frankly, it looks an absolute fukin beast; still reckon I'd do ya with me standard Honda City though; superior driving skills you see...

Shame diesel trucks have such a small rev range, now if you could take that up to say 11k revs

The diesel can rev higher, but the injector pump can not handle the RPM.
The earlier diesel 2800 RPM ,now the Japs have made better pumps that can 4500 rpm.

this is where the SCV controller comes into play

You mean the suction control valve.
From what I have read the diesel engine power band is 3,000 to 4,000 RPM this is max power not max RPM

After 4,000 the max power starts to drop so there is no benefit go over 4,500rpm
You are better of get into the next gear

New 3.2 Ranger makes all its noise by 3,000 rpm from there is drops like brick all the way to the 4800 RPM redline, having said that at 3200 rpm in 6th gear it is doing 185km/h.
