I think it must be a mid life crises thing, always been into speed but never the modifying of engines,
I added a water/meth injection kit to modification list but did show a little restraint and said no to the nitrous kit.

The truck has apparently stirred a lot of interest in the diesel race community with its list of hi end parts, As far as we know first in Thailand with full custom TKO gearbox and first with imported forged piston with the new skirt less pistons. So I think it should take Thailand’s fastest street diesel truck. Not worried if it doesn’t as I am going to have a lot of fun with it.

I nowadays (for years) always use shell v-power (on quite a biggish SUV). it costs more per litre but there is better performance and actually i notice it goes further. they say performance is better in acceleration, i dont know about that, i am just happy with what i have no street racing

Should be the same as the smaller holeset that came off as we will be running bigger valves, and higher rail pressures more fuel all being pushed out the exhaust turbine spooling the turbo.
I am no expert but also a lot to do with the size of the exhaust housing and impeller which will be set up to give me the lest lag and still a hi boost pressure
The truck when running the holeset made more boost than what was required anyway.
Also with the upgraded internals I can run with more RPM if I chose to as well the gearbox has custom gears to hold the truck in the right RPM when shifting

So no I dont think it will be a problem

    Gents,

Riggers truck is going to be an absolute beast!
    big mods on the way.

The unqiue turbocharger, a racing bread is good upto 60psi!
spools from about 2200rpm-2500rpm. similar spool pattern as the stage 3 turbo rigger used previously.

    An update,
Our Monster Triton, 3.2 just Hit a new world record. (previously it made 330hp 723nm of torque).
we dynoed it 2days ago and hit (413HP 873NM of torque) world record for the 4m41! without nos.
not done yet, turbo change is planned and 100HP shot of nos.
after we did a 3.3lsd ratio swap-converting it to rwd from 4x4,
we measured 5th gear topspeed at 4500rpm std redline, it hit a crazy 248km/hr.....
    new tires needed
and yes its a daily driven truck

Love this thread, cant wait to see the promised vid of Phillip taking Riggers truck for a track run.

Just purchased a D-Max super titanium cab 4. LS delivery some time during next week I hope, it will be very hard not taking it for a trip to MPI for a Monster V2 tickle, I'll probably lose that fight

Just do it mate, Thats a better system than the power lab I first had, which was a real blast to drive. I also bought the V2 system but yet to drive the truck with it installed
I hope you bought a manual gearbox

No auto, just to much of a pain driving without where I live, don't want to overdo it just a tickle eliminating any turbo-lag, get better throttle response and some more power, but well within the boundaries of longevity for engine and gearbox, but still not going with the more primitive crude piggyback systems.

Rigger you gearbox should be in soon... its taking its time.

all we did with mysetup was just dyno it---no mechanical job was done extra beside the lsd ratio and retuning of my Mv-R. (scv option)

btw i just drew some technical drawings of a custom made 4-link drag for your truck. we will try to fabricate it accordingly.
