    Honda PCX English User/Service Manual

Just bought a new Honda PCX scooter/bike and have been searching the net for 2 days for an English Language User/Service Manual. No luck.

Does anyone have a pdf copy of one? .. or a link to where I could download one?

    Thanks!

Here's a (stock) pic of the sexy beast.

You can use logic to justify anything. That's its power. It’s also its flaw.

I rented one in Pattaya to give it a try. It was a complete disappointment. The top speed it could obtain on a level road (Sukhumvit) was 104KPH, and it accelerated very slowly, especially from 80 to 104. That silly notch in the seat mean I could not sit far enough back to unfold my legs, the left brake is a cable instead of being hydraulic and the "combi break" means no separate control for the front or rear.
At nearly 70,000 Baht (or twice the price of a Wave) it terribly overpriced. Just a mediocre product with a lot of hype.
In any event, it's too late for the OP, but rent one before you buy one to spare yourself a big disappointment.

What do you expect from a rental? It was probably never broken in correctly. It costs about 200 Baht to remove the bump .. add extra padding and get the seat recovered. I'm doing that today.

I'm impressed with it. Even cruising comfortably at 100 kph is fine for me. It's only 125cc afterall.

For speed .. go for it's competitor .. the Yamaha Nouvo Elegance 135cc. But it's ugly.

OK .. I tracked down an English version finally. It's split into 3 PDF files .. so I popped them into a ZIP and uploaded to my website.

Here's the link for anyone interested ..

After reading reviews from countless owners on bike sites .. Bobs opinion is in the minority .. but by all means "try before you buy" .. common sense really.

One thing I've noticed in the past couple of days .. It's a chick magnet.

I dont like that bump in the seat I'm not tall guy as for acceleration mine is good and it's smooth a lot less vibration than the click or airblade the suspension is better than most bikes, we also have a Fino my wife uses I borrow it the other day I've not rode for long time not even 1 year old there's a vast difference.

And it's not twice the price of a wave

I live in Ban Chang, which is 40 kilometers from Pattaya. How fast am I supposed to go? Just glad I did not buy one, it would be quite annoying being passed all the time by slightly modified Waves and one year old Sonics that cost 25000 baht less.

It would take a real man to buy one of these and admit that for the overly high price he made a mistake.

I would have to question if a "real man" would actually buy one of these? or have I stumbled onto a "gay" thread unknowingly?

It's sort of like the old "Big car/Little Guy-Small dick" thing. I've never owned a big car ..
