It was accident, and accidents happen which people learn from. There are thousands of people all over the world that have made the same mistake and I know a few experienced bike mechanics that have made that same mistake. To say there's one born every minute is just insinuation on your part and shows lack of character. If I made the same mistake again, you and anyone else would have the right to say that there's one born every minute...
To stick a bike on a centre stand, start engine, click into gear, let clutch out, kneel down in front of a turning chain & sprocket, you put finger in there, chain & sprocket chew your finger off. Yep there is one born every minute!
