I drove though water 300mm deep and the engine developed an issue so I took it to the dealership as I thought it might be a sensor or something got wet.... If the water was deeper than the vehicles touted capability of 800mm the thought it may well be water ingress.... well then yes I would have called the insurance company.

The Meth One's Fuck The Best !!
as attractive as the mg might be because of its price, one should realise that in its heart it is just another poorly made chinese product , and as attractive as the ford might be thanks to its macho look, it is just another american vehicle and american vehicles are neither known for their reliability, after sales service or parts availability.
in thailand there is only one way to go, and that is to buy japanese ...... look around you, the country is knee deep in toyotas and hondas and there are very good reasons for that. proven and tested engineering, extraordinary reliability and excellent after sales service.
^ And your wingman![]()
indeed.
toyotas, like hondas sell not because they stand out or confer supposed status upon owners easily seduced by badge (e.g. apple, mercedes, bmw), but because they are reliable, they "do exactly what it says on the tin" and dealer backup is excellent. the thai is a canny shopper and as in other countries the herd instinct will often be enough to convince the purchaser where to safely put their money so as to avoid entering a world of of problems, pain, stress inconvenience and conflict.
mg is an old established name recently taken over by a chinese company and is built to a price.
reliability is also an issue with them.
the chinese will eventually get it right with their cars, but they are not there yet.
MG owners clearly had contrasting views when it came to responding to our 2020 Driver Power survey, praising some aspects of their cars, but placing the brand near bottom for overall reliability and quality. Almost a third (31.8%) said their car had one or more faults within the first 12 months.
MG HS SUV - Reliability & safety 2020 review | Carbuyer
I got the Toyota 4 door Revo last week. Absolutely loving it. Soo quiet, hard to believe it's a diesel. Seems to be fairly good on mileage, haven't quite sat down and figured it out yet. Why am I posting in this thread? Well, I was originally going to buy the MG Extender truck. I honestly feel more confident in Toyota's name or reputation than the MG brand name, still love that red MG truck colour though!!! But hard to get it.
